- Celebrate this milestone anniversary at Seymour Smith park (6802 Harrison St.) by showcasing the widespread recreational opportunities available to men and women of all abilities in the Omaha Area. Exciting festivities at the event include a wide array of adaptive sports, a demonstration of Omaha’s wheelchair rugby and softball teams, bounce house, rock wall, refreshments and more!

- $1 Admission Per Person at City of Omaha pools.
Wild, Wild West Day at The Durham Museum – 7/25, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
- The Durham is once again teaming-up with Wild West Creations to bring back the Old West with blacksmith, leather stamping, apple butter and Dutch oven cooking demonstrations, Learn to Lasso, Cow Pie Toss, and Shoot-Out by Wild West Creations Cowboys at high noon.
Summer Olympics at Mahoney State Park – 7/25, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. FREE (Park pass required)
- Choose from fun activities including: Bow fishing Simulation, Slingshot Challenge, Scavenger Hunt Race, Canoeing, and Frisbee Toss.
- Feel free to stop by anytime from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Event held at the Century Link Lake (follow the signs). Daily or Annual park pass required.
Clayton Anderson Book Signing at Strategic Air & Space Museum – 7/25, 2 -4 p.m.
- During this appearance, Anderson will speak about his dreams of becoming an astronaut and the triumphs and tragedies of life as a NASA astronaut. Anderson, a native from Ashland, Nebraska, will offer an autograph to those who purchase his new book, The Ordinary Spaceman. The event is included with paid admission to the Museum.
Where Books and Art Meet – 7/25, 2:30 – 3:30 p.m., FREE, Registration Required
- Explore your creative side every week with art projects based on books and illustrations. Classes meet at South Omaha Library and are taught by professional artists and art teachers in partnership with Arts For All. For children ages 8-12.
