- The Omaha Summer Arts Festival celebrates its 40th year June 6-8. The Festival is Omaha’s premier destination for arts and entertainment featuring 135 of the nation’s finest visual artists, a stage of continuous musical performances and a hands-on Children’s Fair.
Springfield Days – 6/6 – 6/7
- Parades, car show, pancake feed, outdoor movie, Friday night music, fireworks, and more. Kiddy Parade at 3:30 and Grand Parade at 4 on Saturday, June 7.
Boys Town Block Party – 6/6, 3 – 6 p.m. FREE
- Free food, prizes, free games, bounce houses, face painting, and much more. Hosted by Heartland Workforce Solutions, 5752 Ames Ave.
Tarzan, The Stage Musical, at The Rose Theater – 6/6 – 6/22
- Beautiful adaptation of the Disney film with music from Phil Collins.
La Vista Concerts & Movies – 6/6, 7 p.m., FREE

Sand in the City Event FREE Family Festival – 6/7, 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. & Sunday, 6/8, 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.
- View amazing sand sculptures built by local and community groups. Enjoy an interactive kids zone and live entertainment. Donations appreciated to support the mission of the Nebraska Children’s Home Society.
Decorate Your Own Cupcake at Sand in the City – 6/7, 3 – 4 p.m.
- Join us as we partner again with Kidz Cook with Joy and Real Princesses Omaha at Sand in the City this year! We will decorate cupcakes with fun beach-themed toppings! The event is free, with donations welcome to support the Nebraska Children’s Home Society. *Limited to the first 75 participants.
Loessfest in Council Bluffs – 5/25 – 6/8
- Saturday, June 7: Semi-Pro Football. A free semi-pro football game on the banks of the Missouri River.
- Sunday, June 8: Disney Day. Performers including Radio Disney favorites begin at 5 p.m. and comes to a close with “Monsters University” shown on the big screen at 9 p.m.
