Fields of Flight Hot Air Balloon Festival at Ditmars Orchard – September 9 – 11
- Watch Hot Air Balloons participate in competition flights and evening glows, in the beautiful surroundings of Ditmar’s Orchard. Parking: $5 per car; Admission: $3 per person.

Opera Outdoors at Midtown Crossing – September 9, 6:30 – 9 p.m., FREE
- Opera Omaha kicks off the 2016-2017 season with its fourth annual Opera Outdoors, a fun, family-friendly and free opera concert for the community.
Fat Brain Toys Drive-In Theater with Team Jack Foundation – September 9 (Movie begins at 8 p.m.), FREE

World O Water – September 10 (12 – 4 p.m.); FREE

Super Bee Orchards Apple Fest – September 10 (1 – 5:30 p.m.); FREE
- Bounce house, face painting, apple games, and u-pick apples (pay for what you pick by weight). Alpacas, characters, dance performances, and more. Caramel apples, hot dogs, water, and Gatorade will be available for purchase in the store.
Kidchella: Music and Arts Festival – September 10 (2 – 8 p.m.)
- Kidchella is a kids music and art festival celebrating the Omaha Children’s Museum’s 40th Anniversary, and features music, crafts, dancing, demonstrations, food, local vendors, and more.
- Location: Stinson Park in Aksarben Village. Tickets are $12 per person.

- Military and first responder guests will receive free entry and lunch; all other guests will receive lunch with their paid admission. RSVP is required by September 8th.
Family Skate at Motto McLean Ice Arena – Sundays, September 4, 11, 18, 25; (4 – 6 p.m.)
