Easter Extravaganza at Lauritzen Gardens – April 4 – 18 (9 a.m. – 5 p.m.), Regular garden admission applies. [RESERVE TIME]

  • Locate all 14 large colored eggs in the garden and receive a fun, Easter-themed prize! Also be on the lookout for golden eggs in the garden, which can be collected and returned to the visitor and education center for special prizes!
  • ALL guests and members must purchase or reserve timed tickets.

  • The Easter Bunny will be in the Meadows Community Center parking lot to wave and hand out free goody bags to the first 450 kids.

Spring Eggstravaganza & Easter Egg Hunt – April 9 (9:30 – 11:30 a.m.; Egg hunt at 10:00 a.m.), FREE

  • Storytime with the library followed by an Easter egg hunt in the Gym (remember to bring your own basket!). The event concludes with little guys toys in the gym, and Scamper visit, and a hunt for 10 egg pictures in the library for a prize.
  • Location: Saddlebrook Community Center, 14850 Laurel Ave., Omaha, NE.

 

Breakfast with the Bunny at Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium – April 9 & 16 (9:30 – 11:00 a.m.), $25 children, $20 adults (Non-members: $30 children, $25 adults, Purchase tickets in advance)

  • Enjoy interactive stations throughout the Bay Family Children’s Adventure Trails and opportunities to meet the bunny Animal Ambassador.

Lord of Love Lutheran Church’s Community Easter Egg Hunt – April 9 (10 a.m.), FREE

  • 1,000+ eggs plus arts & crafts for kids in Pre-K through 4th grade.
  • Location: 10405 Fort St., Omaha, NE.

 

Benson Community Easter Egg Hunt – April 9 (10 a.m. – 1 p.m.), FREE

  • Enjoy egg hunts for kids up to 11-years-old as well as free lunch (while supplies last), live music, and family fun! Everyone is invited.
  • Location: Gallagher Park, 2936 N. 52nd St., Omaha, NE.

 

Spring Celebration & Egg Scavenger Hunt at Gifford Farm Education Center – April 9 (10 a.m. – 2 p.m.) $5/person ages 1 and older (Children under 1 not egg hunting are free) [REGISTER FOR A TIME SLOT].

  • Egg Hunt by reservation only. Register your egg hunters here. 
  • Collect eggs and other prizes. scavenger hunt, hayride, and more.

Ralston Community Easter Egg Hunt – April 9 (10:30 a.m. – 12 p.m.), FREE

  • 10,000 Easter eggs, prize-filled Easter baskets, and bounce houses!
  • Location: Ralston Park, 80th St. & Park Dr., Ralston, NE (Ralston Park and Baseball Fields).

 

Collective Church’s Eggstravaganza Omaha – April 9 (11 a.m.), FREE (Bring money for Food Trucks)

  • Free Easter egg hunt with 10,000 eggs, bounce houses, face painting, balloon artists. Bags will be provided for collecting eggs. Chances to win raffle prizes and prizes hidden in mystery eggs. Food Trucks will be on-site with food and beverages available for purchase.
  • Easter egg hunts for each age group: 0-3 years, 4-6 years, and 7-10 years. Egg hunts will start at 11:30 a.m. with staggered times.
  • Location: Millard North High School, 1010 S. 144th St., Omaha, NE (on the track).

 

Benson Sons of The American Legion Easter Egg Hunt – April 9 (11 a.m. – 1 p.m.; egg hunt begins at 12:00 p.m.), FREE (Open to the public. Donations are greatly appreciated.)

  • The Benson Sons of The American Legion invite you for games and aged-based egg hunts beginning at noon.

  • This all-ages event features food, family, music, games and an Easter egg hunt that will be a blast for all kids.

  • Wander through the Halleck Park trail with your Easter basket and collect goodies from local organizations placed along the trail! There will be photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny and some of his friends.

Roaming Easter Bunny at Village Pointe Shopping Center – April 9 (1:30 – 5 p.m.), FREE

  • The Easter Bunny will be roaming throughout the shopping center handing out Easter eggs filled with candy and gift cards from various Village Pointe stores! Bring your camera to take pictures with the Bunny.

Eggstravaganza at Camp Brewster – April 16 (9 a.m. – 3 p.m.), $10/member & $20/non-member (Members must sign in to receive discount) [REGISTER]

  • Activities (for all ages) include raptor and critter encounters, cookie decorating, craft making, and more, as well as an egg hunt activity (for kids ages 2-10). Bring your own basket. Eggs could include exciting treasures like candy, stickers, and other goodies!
  • Three hour-long sessions are available. Pre-registration is required.
  • Location: Camp Brewster, 1313 Bellevue Blvd. N, Bellevue, NE.

 

Easter Activities at Omaha Children’s Museum – April 15 – 16 (Fri: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., Sat: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.), included with museum admission

12th Annual Spring Fling Easter Egg Hunt Eggstravaganza – April 16 (8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.), FREE

  • 22,000 prize and candy-filled eggs, bounce houses, face painting, pony rides, Easter Bunny, food and more!

Adams Park Easter Eggstravaganza – April 16 (9 – 11 a.m.), FREE

  • An Easter celebration filled with egg hunting and special activities for everyone. Bring your camera for pictures with the Easter Bunny. For ages 1-12.
  • Location: Adams Park Community Center, 3230 John A. Creighton Blvd., Omaha, NE.

  • Location: First Presbyterian Church of Omaha, 216 S. 34 St., Omaha, NE (Entrance on 34th St. north of Farnam St.)

La Vista Easter Egg Hunt – April 16 (10 – 11 a.m.), FREE

  • 16,000+ Easter eggs — some filled with candy and some filled with cash — spread over four softball fields! Each age group participates on its own field with staggered start times, so families with children in different groups can move from one to the next.
  • Collecting food and/or cash donations for the Tri-City Food Pantry.
  • Location: Sports Complex Softball Fields, 7346 S. 66th St., La Vista, NE.

 

StoneBridge Christian Church’s Fremont Eggstravaganza – April 16 (10 – 11:30 p.m.), FREE

  • The community is invited to check out Stonebridge Christian Church and enjoy egg hunts, bounce houses, a balloon artist, face painters, a juggler, cotton candy, snacks and coffee.
  • Location: Fremont Campus, 1041 N. Nye Ave., Fremont, NE.

 

Easter Egg Hunt & Puppet Show at Calvary Lighthouse Church – April 16 (11 a.m.), FREE [REGISTER]

  • Free Easter egg hunt, puppet show, face painting, a take-home craft (while supplies last), food trucks, prayer booth, and raffle prizes. Egg hunt is for ages 0-11. Food truck items and raffle tickets are available for purchase.
  • Pre-register on online or register in person at the event. Every registered family receives one free raffle ticket.

  • Easter service will be followed by a celebration egg hunt.
  • Register in person at the 10:30 a.m. service to be eligible for prize giveaways.

Sunset Hills Baptist Church Easter Egg Hunt – April 17 (Around 11:45 a.m., after worship service is completed), FREE

  • The Easter egg hunt (for children up to 4th grade) will be held, weather permitting, on the spacious grounds at the church.
  • Location: Southern Hills Baptist Church, 9416 Pacific St., Omaha, NE.

 

Community Easter Egg Hunt & Meal – April 17 (12 – 2 p.m.), FREE

  • Spirit Peace is hosting a Potluck Lunch followed by an Easter egg hunt.
  • Location: Valley City Park (large pavillion), 400 W. Vass St., Valley, NE.
