Community Fall Fair
Our 5th annual Community Fall Fair is a free, family-friendly community event designed to bring people together in a fun, welcoming environment. This year’s event is scheduled for Saturday, August 30th from 12pm-2pm and features music, games, free food, and activities for all ages—creating space for community engagement and resource awareness.
This free event is open to families across Omaha and surrounding areas, featuring:
Fun family activities – carnival games, bounce house, vendors, and both free lunch with other snacks available for purchase Community engagement – visits from the Omaha Police & Fire Departments (including a fire engine for kids!) Free services & resources – connecting families with organizations and resources in Omaha, free hair cuts, free pediatric dental check ups, diaper station, medical check up station, and more Give-A-Way and Prize drawings – kids bikes, prize packages and moreOutdoor Learning Series: Critter Clues
Explore nature-related topics with a park naturalist at Two Rivers SRA on Saturday mornings!
On August 16, the topic will be critter clues! Be a wildlife detective. Uncover critter clues left behind in the wild as you observe tracks, fur, scat and more. The event will be held at the pavilion east of the Caboose Park.
This event series is free and all ages are welcome. A valid state park vehicle permit is required for entry.
Tiny Tot Fall Party & Fire Safety Storytime
Celebrate fall at A.V. Sorensen Branch and Community Center! At this Music & Movement, we will learn about fire safety with a local firefighter and even see a fire truck! After storytime, get the wiggles out in the gym and bounce in a bounce house!
We are inviting firefighters from our nearby station so they may not be able to make it if they receive a call.
The storytime focuses on early literacy skills through simple songs, dance, play and short stories designed for active toddlers and their participating caregiver(s).
This free event is for children ages 5 and younger. Childcare groups, please call in advance.
