Join the Nebraska Chinese Association and The RiverFront for an evening of cultural performances, regional vendors, family activities, and a great selection of food! Performances will encapsulate various cultures, with live music and dancing from 6 to 9 PM. The One Community Festival will be held at the Performance Pavilion and Downtown Green event lawn at Gene Leahy Mall.

Halloween Boo Bash at Village Pointe
Get ready for a spooktacular time at Village Pointe’s Halloween Boo Bash on Saturday, October 11, from 1–3 pm!
Presented by Woodhouse, this family fun event will be packed with activities for all ages.
Enjoy trick-or-treating, special characters, face painting, balloon twisting, and more all along Davenport Street!
New this year: Don’t miss the Magic Shows in the Amphitheater, sponsored by Children’s Nebraska. Whether you head to the magic show first and then trick-or-treat—or flip it—you won’t want to miss either!
Dance along with our DJ, and don’t forget to stop by the special character photo op in front of the light up Boo Bash backdrop to capture a magical Halloween memory.
Event Schedule:
- 1–3 pm: Trick-or-Treating along Davenport Street with special characters and store participants (full list coming soon!)
- Note: Lines will cut off at 2:50pm to accommodate as many kiddos & families as possible by 3pm. We ask for your patience as these characters are very popular!

Make a splash with science and creativity! In this hands-on class, you’ll design playful water features and artistic displays using 3D-printed ducks. Experiment with water flow, movement, and design to create your own mini “duckie waterpark” while exploring the principles of art, engineering, and fluid dynamics.
Take & Make: Compass
Discover the science of magnetism and navigation with this hands-on compass kit! Kids can build their own working compass while learning STEM concepts in a fun and engaging way. The kit includes precut wooden parts, a magnet, and easy-to-follow instructions — perfect for curious young explorers and makers.
Toddler Tuesday: Amazing Athletes
Get fit with fun as the Amazing Athletes guide you through a variety of active activities. Then, nurture your muscles and your mind with a healthy snack and a fun craft activity!
Toddler Tuesday: Awesome Autumn with Miss Tina
Let’s be honest. We all know fall is the best season. So, let’s celebrate it! Miss Tina will read autumnal stories, she’ll guide kids through some festive yoga poses, then everyone will get to enjoy a cute craft activity. It’ll be as fun as a giant pile of leaves!
