Day of the Dead

Community Fall Fair

Our 5th annual Community Fall Fair is a free, family-friendly community event designed to bring people together in a fun, welcoming environment. This year’s event is scheduled for Saturday, August 30th from 12pm-2pm and features music, games, free food, and activities for all ages—creating space for community engagement and resource awareness. 
This free event is open to families across Omaha and surrounding areas, featuring:
✅ Fun family activities – carnival games, bounce house, vendors, and both free lunch with other snacks available for purchase
✅ Community engagement – visits from the Omaha Police & Fire Departments (including a fire engine for kids!)
✅ Free services & resources – connecting families with organizations and resources in Omaha, free hair cuts, free pediatric dental check ups, diaper station, medical check up station, and more
✅ Give-A-Way and Prize drawings – kids bikes, prize packages and more

MAHA Festival 2025

The Maha Festival is back! Maha is thrilled to return on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at the new Heartland of America Park on Omaha’s Riverfront.

Headlining the festival are the legendary Pixies, pioneers of alternative rock whose influence resonates throughout modern music. Joining them is a stellar lineup of artists, including Grammy-nominated indie rock sensation Waxahatchee, indie rock icons Band of Horses, the mesmerizing synth-pop duo Magdalena Bay, alternative rock powerhouse Silversun Pickups, and Omaha’s own Little Brazil.

Children 10 years and under have free admission to the festival.

Midwest Tacos & Tequila Fest

Year three of Midwest Tacos & Tequila Fest at Falconwood Park! Falconwood Park is located in Bellevue, just 15 minutes from Downtown Omaha.

Join Saturday, June 6, with live music, art, vendors, and Tacos & Tequila! Thats not all, though.

They’ll also have mechanical bull riding, Lucha Libre wrestling matches, Micheladas, and a taco eating contest!

Live music begins at 3 PM

Gretna Days Fireworks Show

Plattsmouth Harvest Festival 2025

Now in its 94th year, the Plattsmouth Harvest Festival is the oldest, continuous harvest festival in Nebraska.  Fun for the whole family, the 3-day event begins with the Coronation of the new King and Queen on Thursday evening. Friday includes carnival rides, Kiddie Parade, Sweetheart Awards, Pep Rally, Car Bash, Balloon Toss, and Bingo. Saturday includes Egg Toss, Chicken Chariot Race, Music & Entertainment, Cake Walk, Cow Drop contest, and the Grand Parade. Lots more to see and do the first weekend after Labor Day in September on and around Plattsmouth’s Historic Main Street. Come join the fun.

Washington County Fair 2025

The Washington County Fair has been a tradition for more than 100 years. The annual event provides a facility that allows 4-H members, businesses, organizations, and individuals to showcase their talents and products with an emphasis on agriculture.
 
Year after year it continues to provide entertainment which brings the entire community together. The fairgrounds are used year round for community events such as meetings, weddings, fundraisers and 4-H events
 
The carnival is back again with free rides for all. We have several new food vendors, gaga ball and more.
 
Come out and support the Fair, the 4H families, local businesses and non-profits.
