Everyone is welcome to this free event including families, youth groups and scout troops, and even your dog! Join in the fun on Saturday, September 12th from 12 noon til 4 pm at Chalco Hills Recreation Area. Enjoy a free hotdog lunch while supplies last.

Smile Fest 2025, Share My Smile’s biggest COMMUNITY event of the year! With over 20 vendors, face painting, bounce houses, and more, Smile Fest creates a fun day for families and the community to connect and create lasting memories. Smile Fest supports our mission by bringing families together in a joyful space that encourages genuine smiles, strong bonds, and lasting support for children in foster care.
All proceeds from Smile Fest 2025 support Share My Smile whose mission is to provide family strengthening events and care programs for foster families to encourage true, honest, and happy smiles in children. Since 2010, Share My Smile has been a lifeline for over 500 foster and adoptive children and families across Iowa and Nebraska. We work closely with community partners to nurture and support these families. Although we receive no government funding, the generosity of donors, sponsors, and fundraisers fuels our mission to bring hope and joy—ensuring every child feels loved and valued.

Plattsmouth Harvest Festival 2025
Now in its 94th year, the Plattsmouth Harvest Festival is the oldest, continuous harvest festival in Nebraska. Fun for the whole family, the 3-day event begins with the Coronation of the new King and Queen on Thursday evening. Friday includes carnival rides, Kiddie Parade, Sweetheart Awards, Pep Rally, Car Bash, Balloon Toss, and Bingo. Saturday includes Egg Toss, Chicken Chariot Race, Music & Entertainment, Cake Walk, Cow Drop contest, and the Grand Parade. Lots more to see and do the first weekend after Labor Day in September on and around Plattsmouth’s Historic Main Street. Come join the fun.

54th Annual Arrows to Aerospace
The year 2025 marks the 37th year that the Bellevue-Offutt Kiwanis Club will be the proud sponsor of Arrows to Aerospace, Bellevue’s premier community celebration. It will kick off with a presentation at the Bellevue Public Library on Thursday, August 14. On Friday, August 15, we will provide a free meal at the Senior Center.
