Join for The RiverFront Community Concert Featuring the Omaha Symphony with Legends of Country at the Performance Pavilion in Gene Leahy Mall. Blankets and folding chairs are welcomed to be placed at 3:00 pm and the concert will start at 8:30 pm.
The Legends of Country, starring The X Factor finalist Rachel Potter and The Voice finalist Patrick Thomas, is a foot-stompin’, toe tappin’ tribute to the greatest names in country music, including songs by famed singers and songwriters like Johnny Cash, Hank Williams, Kenny Rogers, Dolly Parton, Carrie Underwood, and Faith Hill.

America 250: Soldiers in the American Revolution
What were living conditions like for soldiers and prisoners of war during the American Revolution?
At 1:00, members of the Sons and Daughters of the American Revolution – Nebraska Chapter will talk with attendees in character while in full revolutionary dress.
At 2:00, Dr. Susan Brynne Long from the University of Nebraska Omaha will discuss British and American prisoners of war in the Revolution.
Celebrate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence with the Omaha Public Library! This year they’re celebrating the ways America has changed over the last 250 years through a year-long lecture series. Each month we’ll offer a different presentation from local experts on American history, culture, or experience.
This is a free event for all ages. Registration is encouraged but not required.

The Kids Markets is a nationwide movement that gives kids the platform to launch their own mini businesses. From slime to soaps, lemonade to lawn services—kids sell what they create, while learning real-life business and social skills.

Join for the First Annual Heartwood Beach Party, a full day of FREE family fun at Heartwood Park courtesy of Applied Underwriters. They’re transforming the park into a beach-inspired celebration packed with art, music, adventure, and hands-on activities for all ages this Saturday.

- Watch professional sand sculptors create a spectacular giant sand masterpiece in our oversized sandboxes.
- Try your hand at sand sculpting during interactive lessons led by the pros or just play in the sand 🏝️.
- Cool off and challenge yourself on the giant water obstacles spread across the lawn.
- Visit Kids Club to create patriotic kites and colorful spinners to take home.
Make Your Mark
Join acclaimed muralist Mike Giron for a one-of-a-kind community mural experience. Guests of all ages are invited to help create a collaborative work of art that celebrates creativity, connection, and summer at Heartwood. The piece will be displayed permanently after the event.

As the sun sets, the celebration continues with an unforgettable evening concert featuring blues-rock powerhouse The Ally Venable Band, with special opening performance by Pocket Rockets.

Boys Town Fireworks
Celebrate the 4th of July with Boys Town!Join Friday, July 4 at 10 p.m. for their Annual Fireworks Show, a beloved tradition open to the public! Invite your family and friends for a night under the stars.
