Independence Day Celebration at 88 Tactical

Join for an unforgettable Independence Day Celebration at 88 Tactical! Get ready for a day filled with fun, food, music, and fireworks as we celebrate the spirit of America.
Admission is FREE.
ACTIVITIES & SCHEDULE
– Carnival: 4:00pm – 9:00pm
– Kids Area with Inflatables & Games
– Music by DJ Chaos
– Food Trucks (stop serving at 8:30pm)

Make Fireworks in a Bottle

Let’s celebrate the 4th with fireworks in a bottle!! Get creative as you fill your bottle with stars, glitter and everything red white & blue!! This is a FREE, all ages event!! First come, first serve, while supplies last!!

  • 4 – 6:30 pm – Archives Museum Open House (5515 Woodlawn Ave)
  • 5:30 – 7:30 pm – Picnic on the Green & Pie Bake Off (Granary Green) (Fund Raiser)
  • 7 – 9:30 pm – Family Street Dance (Downtown: 77th and Main St.)
  • 8:30 – 11:30 pm – Lemon Fresh Days Concert (Granary Green – 7401 Main St. – 21+ event)
  • 10 pm – Fireworks show at the Liberty First Credit Union Arena (73rd and Q St)

Saturday, JULY 4th – EVENTS

  • 7:30 – 9 am – Optimist Fun Run/Walk (please register with the Optimists)
  • 10 – 10:30 am – Children’s Parade (Independence Square – line up 9:30 am – Walk from 77th and Main St. to 75th and Main and Back)
  • 10:30 am – LaDonna Johnson Fountain Dedication (Independence Square)
  • 11 – 12:30 pm – Parade Line Up (Parade Entries ONLY – Enter at 84th and Lakeview St.)
  • 1 pm – Parade through Ralston (Start at 80th and Highland St, east on Oakwood – turns into Miller Ave, east on Main St., End at Main and 73rd St.)
  • 3:30 – 4 pm – Fire Department Water Fights (Independence Square)
  • 3:30 – 4:30 pm – After Parade Cool Down Foam Party (Granary Green)

Join for a FREE Red, White, and Blue Block Party at Heartland Hope Mission! This is YOUR day to relax, have fun, and make memories with your kids without spending a dime.

Friday Night Bites & Beats – Fourth of July Block Party

Join Friday July 4th, for our can’t-miss Fourth of July Block Party – a night packed with live music by Eva Bleu, bounce house, giant water slide, lawn games, food trucks, cold drinks, and patriotic party fun for the whole crew. It’s everything you love about summer, wrapped in red, white & blue! Our Guest Services Ambassadors will be on hand with everything you need from our Rental Bar to enjoy in the park; check out board games, sports equipment and more to enjoy all evening long.

When: 4PM–10PM
​Where: Heartwood Park (301 S. 145th St., Omaha)
​What’s Happening: Music, games, party favors, and more – all in a festive block party atmosphere!

Ralston 4th of July Fun: Parade, Water Fight, and FOAM Party

  • OPTIMISTS INDEPENDENCE DAY FUN RUN/WALK: One of the oldest runs in Nebraska!

Freedom Fest at Nelson Produce Farm

Join for one of the most anticipated nights of the summer!

Freedom Night is a full evening of family fun, festive games, and hands-on farm experiences. The night ends with a spectacular fireworks show presented by Bellino Fireworks.
