Be sure to bring in your extra harvest to share with our community too! In collaboration with Whispering Roots, we’re accepting donations of fresh produce from the garden, which will be turned into delicious and nutritious meals served at local shelters – or shared directly with dozens of underserved communities in our city. It’s all part of our Plant to Give initiative.

14th Annual LOVAM Jazz Festival

LOVAM is another perfect way to enjoy an evening out with your family and friends. Join us for live jazz music in an intimate outdoor setting.

Midtown Mix: Post Service Collective (Funk)

Kick off your weekend at Midtown Mix, Midtown Crossing’s free Friday night live music series on the Turner Park Terrace this September. From 6-8 p.m., enjoy intimate performances in a relaxed outdoor setting, with Omaha’s downtown skyline providing the perfect backdrop.

Midtown Mix is a laid-back neighborhood gathering where music takes center stage and community comes together. Bring a lawn chair, claim a park bench, or settle in on a nearby restaurant patio and enjoy the show up close. Better yet, grab your favorite beverage to-go from a Midtown Crossing establishment and sip while you listen. Beer, wine, and champagne are permitted, making Midtown Mix the perfect way to unwind, connect, and ease into the weekend.

Midwest Fest!

The family-friendly festival, led by the team behind Made in Omaha, draws 70+ makers from across the Midwest and thousands of shoppers to foster community connections and celebrate the region’s entrepreneurs and creatives. There will be handcrafted goods, apparel, jewelry, home décor, art, specialty food, live music, food trucks, kids’ crafts and a dedicated Next Gen Makers area, where young entrepreneurs under 18 will be showcasing their business.

Friday Night Flicks – Zootopia 2

Friday Night Flicks is a free outdoor movie night full of fun for the entire family. The night will be filled with activities for all including lawn games, giveaways, food trucks, free popcorn, face painters, and more.

Get closer than ever to the original film-worn costumes of some beloved Disney heroes and villains, including Cinderella, Maleficent, Mary Poppins, Captain Jack Sparrow and Aladdin. Discover the craftsmanship behind exquisite gowns, majestic capes, mesmerizing uniforms and other props from live-action films.
