Third Saturday – Music in Dundee

Dundee is bringing the neighborhood to life with monthly live music in the streets—and you’re invited! On the third Saturday evening of each month, from 6–8pm, enjoy the sounds of local talent as we welcome a different Omaha-area musician to perform right in the heart of the neighborhood. Whether you’re out for a casual stroll or heading to dinner, take a moment to pause, listen, and soak in the vibrant community energy that makes Dundee so special.

Aloha Omaha is a brand-new, free & open to the public community celebration bringing island energy to the Midwest. Join us for an unforgettable afternoon and evening filled with music, culture, food, and good vibes.

Springfest at River’s Edge

Get ready to soar into spring! Join for high-flying entertainment at Springfest on March 28 and 29 at Tom Hanafan River’s Edge Park, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day!

Once again, Great American Kites is bringing their record-breaking giant and colorful kites to paint the sky. Plus, we will have live music, food trucks, and family-friendly fun.

🥤 You are welcome to bring your lawn chairs, picnic blankets, water bottles, snacks, etc. We will have a water bottle refill station!

🐶 Dogs are welcome as long as they are leashed, cleaned up after, and well-behaved.

🚗 700 Parking spots are available in the parking garage at 4250 River’s Edge Parkway, plus on-street in the surrounding neighborhoods.

🚵🏻Want to avoid traffic and parking? Ride your bike! We will have bike parking available. Don’t forget your bike lock. The first 100 people to park a bike get a free t-shirt!

🪁You are welcome to bring your own kite and fly it in a designated hobbyist area. Great American Kites will also have various kites for sale at Springfest.

Springfest is presented by the City of Council Bluffs and made possible thanks to the generosity of Iowa West Foundation.

Opera Outdoors

Opera Omaha’s annual kick-off to the season returns. Spread your picnic blanket, kick off your shoes, and relax as the songs of birds and opera intertwine. This FREE, family-friendly concert, which has become a community favorite, is held at Midtown Crossing’s Turner Park and includes some of opera’s greatest hits.

Boomstock

Boomstock is more than just a concert, it’s a celebration of the legendary 60s and 70s music that defined a generation. Hosted by Boomer Radio, this charity event brings the Omaha community together for a night of groovy tunes, good vibes, and giving back.

Intergenerational Orchestra

One of the most unique musical ensembles in the United States, The Intergeneration Orchestra of Omaha bridges two diverse age groups through the common language of music.  The Orchestra is now in it’s 41st season.  Musicians are all volunteers and either 25 years of age and younger or 55 years of age and older.  Mark Benson serves as the Music Director.  The Orchestra is sponsored by the Eastern Nebraska Office on Aging.

The RiverFront One Community Cultural Festival : Community Culture Fest with NCA

Join the Nebraska Chinese Association and The RiverFront for an evening of cultural performances, regional vendors, family activities, and a great selection of food!  Performances will encapsulate various cultures, with live music and dancing from 6 to 9 PM.  The One Community Festival will be held at the Performance Pavilion and Downtown Green event lawn at Gene Leahy Mall.
