Opera Omaha’s annual kick-off to the season returns. Spread your picnic blanket, kick off your shoes, and relax as the songs of birds and opera intertwine. This FREE, family-friendly concert, which has become a community favorite, is held at Midtown Crossing’s Turner Park and includes some of opera’s greatest hits.
Boomstock
Boomstock is more than just a concert—it’s a celebration of the legendary 60s and 70s music that defined a generation. Hosted by Boomer Radio, this charity event, supporting Project Harmony and 50 Mile March Community of Hope, brings the Omaha community together for a night of groovy tunes, good vibes, and giving back.
By attending Boomstock, you’re not just enjoying great music–you’re helping support important local causes!
Intergenerational Orchestra
One of the most unique musical ensembles in the United States, The Intergeneration Orchestra of Omaha bridges two diverse age groups through the common language of music. The Orchestra is now in it’s 41st season. Musicians are all volunteers and either 25 years of age and younger or 55 years of age and older. Mark Benson serves as the Music Director. The Orchestra is sponsored by the Eastern Nebraska Office on Aging.
