Family Nights with Santa & Holiday Concert Series at The Durham
Ho Ho Ho! During the busy holiday season, The Durham Museum makes it easy for families to create special memories with Santa. Tuesday Nights with Santa are filled with family-fun activities, and of course, an appearance from Jolly Saint Nick himself!
Plan your family’s visit now to enjoy all the evening has to offer:
- Santa’s Cabin Experience: Come see Jolly Saint Nick and share your Christmas wishlists
- Sock Skating Pond: Slide and glide with family and friends at our new indoor sock skating experience. No frostbite, just fun!
- Create a holiday craft at the Mangelsen’s Craft Corner
- Enjoy live performances by local musical ensembles in front of the 40-foot tree
- Take part in the FNBO Elfie Scavenger Hunt and see how many elves you can cross off
- Let it snow! Close the night out at 7:50PM with an indoor winter wonderland “snowfall” inside the Suzanne and Walter Scott Great Hall
Please note, Santa’s Cabin closes at 7:30PM. Upon arriving to the museum, families wanting to see Santa are highly encouraged to do so at the beginning of their visit. Jolly Saint Nick is quite a popular fella, so wait times may be longer than usual.
Holiday Cultural Festival at The Durham
Take a festive trip around the globe during the guest-favorite Holiday Cultural Festival at The Durham Museum. With numerous local cultural organizations expected to participate, guests will have a great opportunity to learn how the world celebrates the upcoming holiday season.
A guest-favorite event, Holiday Cultural Festival offers unique crafts and traditional dress while musicians and dancers perform in front of Omaha’s official Christmas tree throughout the night. Santa himself will be on site, so bring your Christmas wish lists. And don’t forget the food! This event includes delicious and hard-to-find ethnic cuisine, as well as gifts.
Come experience the world at The Durham Museum on December 5!
