Annual Holiday Arts and Crafts Show
The Annual Holiday Arts and Crafts Show will be held Saturday and Sunday, December 6th-7th, at the Mid-America Center in Council Bluffs.
The show is billed as one of Iowa’s largest shows, with over 200 exhibitors presenting and selling thousands of unique, handmade products. Among the various products being sold at the show are leather goods, oak, pine and wine barrel furniture, paintings and prints, ceramics, kids teepees, wall hangings, toys, blankets, jewelry, metal art sculptures, pet products, etched and stained glass, yard and garden art, pottery, candles, clothing, quilts, aprons, pillows, fishing lures, doll clothes, baskets, rugs, place mats, table runners, purses, floral arrangements and wreaths, wood and metal signs, soap and lotions, emu oils and many more original products.
Exhibitors will also be selling coffee cakes, dips, salsa, barbeque sauce, soups, jams, jellies, cheese and sausage, wines, fudge, honey, food mixes and roasted nuts. All items offered for sale to the public are handmade by the exhibitor.
The hours of the show are from 9am to 5pm on Saturday and 10am to 4pm on Sunday. Admission is $6 and children 10 and younger are free. Parking is free throughout the show. All patrons who attend the show on Saturday will receive a two-day re-entry stamp.

Holiday Cocktail Crawl
Savor the sips of the season at the 5th Annual Holiday Cocktail Crawl! Each participating establishment will offer a signature holiday cocktail. Visit as many stops as you like, in any order you like, and cast your vote for the best cocktail in midtown! And be sure to break out the festive attire — ugly sweaters, cocktail dresses, Santa suits welcome!
While you’re here, enjoy a stroll through the Season of Lights and make a visit to the 26’ holiday tree (in Farnam Court) and Santa Sleigh (on the southwest end of Turner Park).

The tree was made possible thanks to donors who gave to The Big Give, Pebble Creek Vintage Thrift, Scribner Area Foundation and the Battle of the Bulls event.
• 4:30pm: Gather around the bonfire by the old Hotel, warm up, eat s’mores and enjoy live music and caroling.
• 6pm: A Small Town Christmas Parade! Everyone’s welcome to join, just line up near Lee’s Market! We’ve had farmers, families, businesses and organizations all tootle on down Main Street.
• 6:45ish: Kids can visit Santa (location TBD, once he flies in from the North Pole, They’ll let you know where he’ll land!).
• Fundraiser Foods: Soups served by the Scribner-Snyder School Traveling Troupe fundraiser.
