Christmas at Union Station Tree Lighting Ceremony

Christmas at Union Station presented by FNBO festivities begin with the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony at The Durham Museum. All the good tidings and cheer lead up to the signature tradition of the night: the countdown to lighting Omaha’s official Christmas tree, followed by a sing-a-long!

Please note, tree lighting will take place around 7PM.

Joslyn Castle Holiday Boutique

Gather with friends and family to shop in the warmth and beauty of Omaha’s historic treasure decorated in full holiday splendor.

Join for the annual Joslyn Castle & Gardens Holiday Boutique on Nov. 8th from 10am-4pm!

This year, they are thrilled to welcome over 25 vendors, offering wares for everyone on your holiday list.

All three levels of the home will be filled with local, small businesses ready to help you tackle that shopping list: from artisan candles, vintage treasures, original artworks, jewelry, menswear and accessories, and more!

Admission to the Saturday boutique is just $10 and benefits Joslyn Castle & Gardens, a non-profit organization with a mission of preserving and sharing the space for the community.

Christmas Open House at Lanoha Nurseries

Step into our Winter Wonderland 11am-2pm and enjoy the sights and sounds of the holiday season! Try treats from some of our favorite local vendors and SANTA will be making his debut appearance for the year. 

PHVFD Kids Christmas Party at the Station

Join for some amazing holiday memories down at the station. There will be handmade crafts, cookies and hot cocoa.

Then of course Santa will be making a special appearance to see the kids. Great photo opportunity!

Elkhorn Tree Lighting Party 2025

Each year Relevant puts on Elkhorn’s Annual Tree Lighting Party in order to bless the Elkhorn community. Come celebrate with us on Main St. in Olde Towne Elkhorn on Sunday, November 30 from 4:00-5:30pm. The festivities are free and feature live Christmas music, a visit from Santa, fire pits, free food, s’mores, and hot cocoa. Invite your family and friends! All are welcome! The tree will be lit at 5:15pm.

Santa Comes To Bennington

Save the date! The jolly ole elf will be making his annual visit to Bennington Elementary the Sunday after Thanksgiving from 1 – 3 p.m. There will be cocoa, Christmas carols, photo opps, and a whole lot of fun!

New Year’s Eve Sunset Hike

Join environmental education team to celebrate the new year under an open sky with a guided hike in the beautiful Loess Hills. Let the natural world inspire you as you set intentions for the year ahead. 

Please dress for the weather and wear appropriate hiking shoes or boots. For winter hiking, dressing in layers is best. Hats and gloves are important as it will feel colder with the wind.
