2025 OSC’s Santa Run

Join for the HOLLY JOLLIEST fun run in the La Vista City Centre! Fun for all ages and “running” abilities. Be ready to suit up in your provided holiday gear and conquer the obstacles set by the North Pole elves. Total distance for this fun run is a 2k.

Adults: $25

Children (3-13): $10

Children 2 & Under: Free

Looking for fun, free night out with your favorite people? Join us for Family & Friends Bingo-a community favorite where laughter, prizes, and friendly competition are always on the card!

Bundle up and join us for Snow Much Fun Bingo! This winter-themed celebration is packed with holiday spirit, frosty fun, and merry moments for the whole family. Play to win cheerful prizes, sip on cocoa, and enjoy a magical night of games under twinkling lights. It’s the most wonderful time… for bingo!

Christmas Colorland Drop-in

Stop by anytime and get creative at our Christmas Colorland Drop-in program. Color Santa, snowflakes, reindeer, Christmas trees and more. This is a fun and relaxing way for families to enjoy the season together!

Holiday Songs and Meanings

Join as they listen to some of our favorite holiday songs and chat about their meanings. Bring your favorite to discuss. Holiday songs from all traditions are welcome! Please e-mail Cedate at [email protected] no later than Friday, December 12, with your song titles.

Elf Academy

Children become elves-in-training and work their way through different stations to see if they qualify to be one of Santa’s elves. Official Elf Certificates are awarded at the end of each session. Ideal for ages 4-12. Elf costume welcome!

Mini Magic: Holiday Diorama Workshop

Grab a friend, partner, family member or work alone while creating a Christmas Winter Diorama. Using a box, mini figures, craft material and lots of imagination, participants will build their own winter wonderland or holiday scene to take home. Whether it’s Santa’s workshop, a cozy snowy village or a gingerbread house scene, let your imagination come to life. All supplies are provided, or participants can bring their own items to add to the diorama. This program is ideal for participants to work in pairs (parent-child, siblings, friends), but you may work alone. 
 
*Registration is required and space is limited. There is a nonrefundable material fee of $10 per diorama. Stop by the Library to get registered.

Grab & Go Holiday Card Making Kit

If this holiday season leaves you feeling crafty and glittery, stop by the library and grab a Holiday Card Making Kit. Each kit will have enough supplies to make two holiday themed cards. Kits will be available while supplies last.

Noon Year’s Eve Party

Join us for this friendly family New Year’s Eve celebration! This event will feature various craft stations, a scavenger hunt, and opportunities to win various prizes.

Be sure to stay for our grand finale, the ball(oon) drop at high noon!

Come enjoy the excitement of ringing in the new year, all without having to stay up until midnight!

Christmas Kiddie Crafts: Beaded Snowflakes

Let your little one’s imagination run wild! Kiddie Craft is a hands-on, creative program designed for children to explore colors, textures, and simple craft techniques in a fun and supportive environment. Each session features themed crafts that help build fine motor skills, encourage creativity, and foster social interaction. Grown-ups are welcome to craft alongside their kids or relax nearby. It’s the perfect way to spark a lifelong love of art and play 

Come join us and twist beads onto pipe cleaners to make sparkly snowflakes to hang up for winter fun!
