Maggot Painting | Insects and Death
Put aside your paintbrushes! Our new painting tools are live maggots! Create a unique masterpiece that will be beautiful and a good conversation starter.
Dr. Amanda Roe, Associate Professor of Biology, will be leading this craft as well as a presentation on the importance of insects in the process of decomposition.

HalloWeeRead Preschool Carnival & Storytime
Games, activities, prizes, and storytime for toddlers, preschoolers, and their families! Costumes and trick-or-treat bags encouraged! Come anytime; a short storytime will start at 6:30. No library card or registration required.

Teen Central: Slime Popcorn
Make deliciously ghoulish popcorn balls with marshmallow and Jello! This event is open to patrons in the 6th-12th grades while supplies last.
Saturday Craft: Wine Cork Pumpkin
Join for a Saturday craft session as we make festive fall pumpkin decorations! They’ll be using wine corks and paint to create unique pieces that will add a lovely fall touch to your kitchen or living space.
Since supplies and space are limited, registration is required. This program is intended for adult crafters.
