Night Light | The Unknown: Edge of Reality (21+)

This October, Night Light (21+) takes you through the veil, beyond the known, and into the realms of mystery. In the season that blurs the boundaries between the living and the dead, we’re exploring underworlds, outerworlds, and the limits of human knowledge. Come in costume and be prepared for a mind-expanding evening! 

We’re embracing scientific and intuitive ways of knowing, celebrating the pursuit of understanding in all its forms. What insights does a death doula gain from witnessing life’s final moments? Is it possible to gather scientific evidence of ghosts? Are we alone in the universe?   

Join us for an eerie evening as we test the limits of the known, dance with the darkness, and explore the many mysteries that keep us up at night.  

7th Annual Comedy Night (Adults)

Join for the seventh annual Comedy Night on Friday, September 18 from 7 – 9 p.m. at River’s Edge Pavilion!
 
Some chairs will be available on the River’s Edge Pavilion patio, but lawn chairs and blankets are also welcome. Arrive early to claim your spot!
 
Due to the nature of stand-up comedy, this event is intended for adults 18 and older. This event is free.

Nebraska Boozy Book Fair

Each night also features a species spotlight, offering a closer look at conservation and the animals in our care. And new this year, select evenings include Kids Night Out, an optional add-on for families looking to enjoy a night out while the little ones have their own adventure.

Night Light: Groove After Dark (21+)

In this musical Night Light experience (ages 21+), we ask: What is a groove, exactly? How do humans find rhythm together, create harmony, and turn sound into song? What’s happening in the mind of a musician as they improvise their way through a classic tune, with one foot in tradition and one in the wild unknown? How can science inform creative practices? 

City Shuffle: Game Night – Phase 10!

Game of the month is Phase 10!

Get ready to roll the dice, deal the cards, and shuffle your way into some friendly competition! City Shuffle: Game Night brings the community together for an evening of fun, laughter and local flavor hosted at Primary Coffee Co.  

Each month features a new game with winners at each table. You can register ahead online or sign up onsite to compete head-to-head in our featured game of the month. Whether you’re a seasoned strategist or just here for the community, there’s a seat at the table for you.
