Audiences will enjoy a diverse selection of works at our two free summer concerts! Please join us for an evening of great music.
Sunday, June 8 – 6PM at St Robert Bellarmine Mainelli Center, 11802 Pacific Street
Thursday, July 3 – 6PM at Ralston Granary, 7401 Main Street, Ralston
Both of these programs feature music of the NWS Swingtones directed by Brian Lund and followed by the Nebraska Wind Symphony directed this summer by Keith Davis.
The NWS Swingtones repertoire consists of big band arrangements in the style of Glenn Miller, Tommy Dorsey, Duke Ellington, Harry James, Wood Herman, Les Brown, and many others. They are preparing two different programs of music from stage and screen and many from the Great American Song Book.
The 2026 Omaha Showcase brings the full Crossroads energy to Gene Leahy Mall for one unforgettable summer night. Hip hop collective Dream Warriors—mic Jordan, Tall Paul, Gunner Jules, and TONE—lead the evening with powerful lyricism rooted in Native experience, community, and joy. They’re joined by Cuban ensemble Mixed Harmony, channeling old-Havana dance floors with timeless son and bolero, and tabla virtuoso Sandeep Das with sitarist Rajib Karmakar, weaving dazzling improvisations between South Asian classical and global grooves.
Between sets, Omaha poet Jewel Rodgers shares original spoken word, food trucks line the park with local favorites, and families, friends, and festival artists mingle under the lights. Come early, bring a blanket, and settle in for an open-air evening where hip hop, Cuban traditions, and virtuosic global sounds meet in the heart of downtown Omaha.
They’re also excited to announce our partnership with the Kids Entrepreneur Market, where kids from 5-17 can set up and run their own stall during the showcase – a farmers market run entirely by kids! The market will run before and during the festival from 6-9pm: you can register here or learn more by watching this parent video.
Free live music on the patio every week. Ice-cold drinks and tasty eats will be available for purchase each week from The Mill. Bring the family, bring the pets, and bring a chair!
