Omaha Public Library invites you to explore the city’s rich history within the sacred grounds of Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery — one of Omaha’s historic cemeteries. Following a brief talk about the significance and history of Evergreen, participants will have the opportunity to uncover stories in plain sight.

Using clues, genealogical prompts, and maps, participants will explore the cemetery’s headstones, monuments, and grave markers, all while discovering family legacies and engaging with Omaha’s past in a meaningful way.
