Join at The Platform, the museum’s interactive play space, and celebrate the holidays with us! Each date will have a special craft or activity and feature related photos from our Photo Archive for a bit of a history lesson while you celebrate.
On Saturday, May 2, we’ll celebrate Cinco de Mayo, a holiday that honors Mexico’s victory at the Battle of Puebla in 1862.
Toddler Tuesday: Cinco de Mayo
What better way to celebrate Cinco de Maya (AND taco Tuesday!) than with a reading of Dragons Love Tacos? Our good friend Miss Tina will bring the story to life before guiding kids through some Cinco de Mayo yoga and a fun craft project to make and take home. Just… whatever you do, please leave the spicy salsa at home!
