Released on May 27, 1949, Africa Screams is an adventure comedy film starring Abbott and Costello. The story follows bumbling bookstore workers Buzz Johnson and mild-mannered Stanley Livington. Buzz cons the adventuress Diana Emerson into believing Stanley is an expert African safari hunter. The duo is roped into an expedition to find a hidden diamond mine.
