Kids Funfare (TBA 2023)
Enjoy special performances on Thursdays in Regency Center Court at special times during the year. View and sign up for upcoming events here.
Do Space
Visit the new Do Space Technology Center and play in the Kids Room or take a Free Class, including Littles Lab for ages 2-5, Make It! for ages 6-12, and Teen Makers ages 11-18. View and sign up for upcoming events here. Membership is free and required for entry into Do Space classes and programs.
Joslyn Art Museum
Two favorite programs for young learners and their adult chaperones—Art Adventures and Story Adventures—are taking new shape at Omaha Public Library branches around town. Retooled as Art Adventures Visits Storytime, this free drop-in program includes a themed storytime, presented by a librarian and complete with songs and creative movement, plus a hands-on art activity inspired by a Museum work that connects to the day’s theme. Sessions are geared toward preschoolers, but all ages are welcome to participate in the fun.
Kids Bowl Free
During summer months, Registration required
Register your children and they will receive two free games every day all summer! Shoe rental extra (some centers sell a season shoe rental pass.) Parents can purchase a family pass if they wish, so they can bowl with their kids. What a great way to be active and have fun with your kids all summer and build memories together!

There are many public libraries in Omaha and the surrounding communities, which host wonderful storytimes, fun programs for children and teens, classes for adults, and special events throughout the year!

Little Sprouts with City Sprouts
Little Sprouts is a weekly summer garden program for young gardeners to learn and explore at City Sprouts. Open to the public, weekly participation is encouraged but one-time visitors are welcome as well. Free and family-friendly, ages 5-10.
Kids Club & MAKEBreak Events at Michaels
Drop in and take home a completed project. MAKEBreak crafts are offered seasonally and may require a purchase. View and sign up for upcoming events here.
Omaha Community Centers
Open gym time with your little ones for as little as $1/adult, and special events throughout the year. Classes for all ages are also offered.
