- Each week, Quasar pairs up a local business with a local charitable cause, to present a “Classic” retro title for a “Free-to-the-Public ” event to raise awareness and support. Tickets are not needed to attend Classics With a Cause on Thursdays. Donations are appreciated.

Sept 28th – Moonlight Movie – Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire – 5:00-9:00pm – FREE
- Join us outdoors for a free fall film on the big screen where we will help celebrate 40 years of Ghostbusters and the newest franchise release! Before the movie, visit us at The Nines Plaza (adjacent to The Astro Amphitheater) for a ghostly good time as Nebraska’s version of an ectomobile will be on display alongside movie characters in costume. Don’t be afraid of no ghost, dress in your best costume and snap photos with our large selfie frame. Come hungry! The Astro’s concessions will be open inside the gates. The first 100 arrivals will receive a free small kettle corn from the City’s welcome booth.

- At Alamo Drafthouse Family Parties, their theaters become your family’s place to celebrate film in wacky and immersive ways. Before the film, kids and parents get to dive into their beloved cinematic universes with themed games, hands-on crafts, and activities. Tickets include the activities and the movie.

- Join La Vista Public Library outdoors for free movies on the big screen. Blankets, chairs, and picnics are encouraged. Supporting community partner Alamo Drafthouse Cinema will provide prizes for raffle drawings before each show.
