The Travel Design Lounge is a brand new concept launching right here in Omaha! Created by Travel and Transport, here you can experience a new way to plan travel and create your dream vacations. Recently, they hosted an event where we learned firsthand about all of the various ways they are here to inspire you in planning your next trip!
Unique Travel Agency + Coffee and Wine Bar
The minute you step in the door, you realize quickly this is not the normal travel agency. The classy atmosphere and comfortable seating help you relax and really imagine the trip you want to take. Stop in for a cup of coffee or glass of wine while browsing through the four large tablets available to help you plan your trip.
Be Inspired
The moment you walk in, you are surrounded by several large screens displaying beautiful images from around the world. You can let your mind wander and imagine visiting these exotic locations, surrounded by beauty and exploring new sites. Their unique approach will allow people to literally get a taste of traveling the world through specialty coffees, teas, wines, craft beers and spirits from select regions.
Perfect for Planning Group Travel
Planning a trip with a group? Bring everyone together to share ideas with an advisor! Several areas are designed specifically for small or large groups to discuss and explore possibilities. Instead of numerous phone calls or emails to exchange ideas and brainstorm itineraries and activities, you can bring your family or friends together in one location and plan out your trip together.

I loved their mission to help you plan the best trip for YOU. The travel advisors want to understand each individual or group’s interests, and help you arrange your trip based on those interests – from adventure, nature, art, history, off the beaten path, to a combination of these. Trips can be specialized for families (Disney vacations!) with your ideas and budget in mind.
The Travel Design Lounge focuses on meeting the needs of each person that walks in the door. For some visitors, that may mean working with an advisor who can expertly guide them and help them plan their trip. For others, it may be providing the source of inspiration and guidance, along with the technology to help them plan and book on their own.
