The Luminarium’s Fright Lab

Trick-or-Treating, Strange Science, and More!

Come dressed in costume* for a fun day of trick-or-treating, strange science, and more! This Halloween season, the Luminarium is celebrating with our first-annual Fright Lab experience. Explore the museum and see how it’s been transformed for the season full of fun and surprises. Science demos including sheep eye dissections will make for a day of educational AND spooky-fun experiences. 

*Leave your samurai swords, light sabers, and blasters at home, please. No costume weapons allowed.

Scary Movie Music with the Omaha Symphony

This is not your usual concert experience; we’re transforming the Holland Center into a huge haunted house complete with lobby performers, special themed drinks, a coating of fog, and more spooky surprises. Get your friends together and come in costume for a nightmarish night with the Omaha Symphony you’ll never be able to forget …

In the deep depths of the Haunted Hall, you’ll hear the Omaha Symphony perform music from:
Frankenstein
Nosferatu (1922)
The Shining
Psycho
Nope
Alien
Jaws
and more!

After the performance, all are invited to shake the scaries out with a post-concert set in the lobby featuring DJ Brent Crampton. It will be a one-of-a-kind night of fright – join your Omaha Symphony at Scary Movie Music … if you dare!

Come early to enjoy the Witching Hour at 6:30 p.m. Activities include:

  • Fortune teller – Tasha Wilwerding
  • Tarot and Bones Reader – Papa Newt
  • Rune Reader
  • Themed drinks
  • Photo Opportunities
  • Lego displays provided by LOLUG

Trick-or-Treat in the Garden

Bring your little ghouls, goblins, and garden fairies for a magical evening of costumes, candy, and community joy at the Benson Community Garden!

Gardeners and local community groups will be handing out treats throughout the garden! Expect glowing pumpkins, fall vibes, and friendly faces — the perfect way to kick off Halloween week!

Halloween Spooktacular at NFM

Gather your little goblins and ghouls for Halloween fun! It’s sure to be a spooktacular time with activities, trick-or-treating, and even a few special character appearances.

Grab a complimentary trick-or-treating bag & map at the main entrances of the Appliance & Electronics Entrance Building.

Pigoween 2025

Join for a day of fun with ADOPTABLE Guinea Pigs & Critters! There will be raffle prizes, face painters, treat stations and other fun activities for the whole family. Costumes Welcome!

11am – 2pm in Suite 110 next to Victoria’s Secret.

If you have a piggie – bring it! $5.00 wellness checks and nail trims.

Suggested $10 Entry Donation. This goes to the rescues. $5 for children, 3 & under are free

Montclair Trunk or Treat

Join for a free event in collaboration with Montclair School and Montclair Trendwood Parkside Georgetowne Neighborhood Association. Bring the family for an evening full of trick-or-treating! Collect candy in our parking lot and enjoy the festive atmosphere. Don’t forget your treat bags!
