Kites, Helmets and Easter Egg Hunt

Bring the whole family and kick off spring with a fun-filled community event!
 
🪁 Build & Fly Kites
• FREE kites for kids of all ages
• Kids decorate and build their own kite with help
• Fly kites behind the middle school (weather permitting)
• Take your kite home
• Giant kites flown by the Omaha Kite Club

🚲 Free Bike Helmet Fitting (Ages 1–14)
• Helmets fitted to current safety standards
• One helmet per child
• Please do not bring bikes
🎁 Bike Giveaway
• 2 bikes given away (1 boy’s, 1 girl’s)
• Drawing at 10:45 AM
• Kids enter for free by registering inside the middle school when building a kite or getting a helmet fitted

5th Annual Eggstravaganza Egg Hunt

Join for the Eggstravaganza Egg Hunt!

Heartwood Preserve is partnering with Collective Church to host the 5th annual Eggstravaganza. 30,000 eggs will be distributed across multiple egg hunts for various age groups (ages 12 & under). The egg hunts will be at staggered times starting at 1:00pm.

There will also be bounce houses, face painting, balloon artists, a fire truck and police car, and a variety of food trucks. This is a free event, but please bring money for the food trucks.

One free raffle ticket will be given to each child, and there will be tons of prizes to win. We can’t wait to see you there. Bring your friends and family for a fun-filled day! RSVP on Facebook Omaha Eggstravaganza for updates

Easter Egg Hunt

You’re invited to celebrate an Easter Egg Hunt at Journey Church!

Join at 11 am on Saturday, March 28 at Journey Church, where kids ages 0 – 11 will collect eggs alongside other children in their age group. After the hunt, we’ll head inside for family games, activities, and Easter story time.

Don’t forget to bring a basket or bag to hold your eggs! 

Eggstravaganza

Hop into spring with the Eggstravaganza celebration! Families are invited to enjoy a special storytime filled with seasonal tales, followed by fun crafts and tasty treats.

Be sure to bring a bag or basket to hold all your goodies! All treats and activities are while supplies last.

La Vista Easter Egg Hunt & Food Drive

Gates open at 1 p.m. | Hunt starts at 2 p.m.

Hop on over to the La Vista Sports Complex for the City’s annual Easter egg hunt and food drive!

Over 20,000 eggs will be spread out between soccer fields 1-4! Come ready to hunt for eggs and enjoy photo opportunities with the Easter bunny before the hunt begins. Remember to bring a basket or bag to collect your eggs.

All age groups will start at the same time to help keep each field age appropriate and safer for all the children.

  • Field 1A – Adaptive for ages 0-22
  • Field 1B – 2 & under
  • Field 2 – Ages 3-4
  • Field 3 – Ages 5-7
  • Field 4 – ages 8-10

Hunt Down A Golden Egg

Each age group will have 5 golden eggs that can be turned in for an “egg”tra special surprise. 

This event draws a large number of people, so plan to come early to allow time to park and walk to the fields.

Remember your cans or cash! La Vista Gives will be collecting food and/or cash donations for the NeighborGood Community Pantry.

Carly’s Easter Egg Hunt & Activities at Tree Adventure

Carly’s Easter Egg-Venture Hop on over to Arbor Day Farm for Carly’s Easter Egg-Venture! Carly the Cardinal and the Easter Bunny have hidden eggs and clues throughout Tree Adventure that lead to fun and special treats! We’ll also have special crafts and activities that the whole family will enjoy. Bring your basket and invite your friends to join in the fun. Included with Tree Adventure admission. NLPOA Omaha 2nd Annual Easter Egg Hunt

The NLPOA Omaha Chapter is excited to host our 2nd Annual Easter Egg Hunt
on Saturday, April 19th, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The “Hunt” will begin
at 11:30 AM. This year, we will have 25,000 filled Easter eggs for the children to
hunt! We will also provide a hot dog lunch for attendees, raffle prizes, music, and
fun!

Part of the mission of the NLPOA Omaha Chapter is to engage with our
community and foster relationships between the citizens of Omaha and the police
department. Weather permitting, there will be displays from the Omaha Police
Department Mounted Unit, Able-1, and Emergency Response Unit, as well as
officers from the Omaha Police Department, the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office,
and the Omaha Airport Authority.

We are grateful to our community partners who help make this event a success,
including Oriental Trading, Omaha Steaks, Rotella’s, the Hispanic Arts Center of
Omaha, Omaha Police Officers Association, Police and Firemen’s Insurance
Association, St. Amour Lifeline Training, and Deaf Audio DJ.
The rain date for the Easter Egg Hunt will be Saturday, April 26th, 2025.
