The Omaha Children’s Museum is an interactive museum that offers a vast selection of entertaining and permanent exhibits, science demonstrations, and special events.
It is the most famous museum in Nebraska and caters primarily to families with children under eight years old. Some of the regular displays include the Imagination Playground, a science center, the Arts Smart Center, Zooland, Susie’s Station, and the Grass Patch. The two lots south of the museum building offer free parking. There is no cost to park at the primary school across St. Mary Avenue on weekends. Along the street, parking meters are also available.
