Santa’s Wonderland offers Contactless Claus visits, free Photo with Santa, and free take-home holiday craft activity kits.
Advance reservations are required in all locations for Free Santa photo and can go quickly. Reserving is easy and free.

Join OPL for a fun-filled interactive movie experience and watch the movie Elf. It will start with a read-aloud of the book followed by crafts and activities during the movie. Families may bring blankets and pillows and food is allowed with the expectation that each family will clean up after themselves. Registration opens up November 15th. Doors will open at 2pm with the movie starting at 2:15pm.

Old Market Display – White lights, garland, and festive decor will illuminate the brick streets of the Old Market and surrounding areas. The display will run from 10th St. to 13th St., and from Harney St. to Jackson St.
North Omaha Display – The North Omaha lighting display will be showcased along a 6-block area around 24th St. and Lake St.
South Omaha Display – The South Omaha lighting display will be showcased on 24th St. between L St. and Q St.

Stroll through tens of thousands of white LED lights strung throughout Turner Park and along Farnam Street. Plus, visit the beautifully decorated tree in Farnam Court.

Visitors are invited to drive down to Washington Park in Bellevue to enjoy the Light Show from your car or walk through the park if weather allows.

5…4…3…2…1…It’s Bingo time! Win prizes, be silly, grab a New Year’s Eve coloring packet and help us celebrate the new year early. Seating is limited. Age: For children in grades 6 and under

Enjoy the spectacular firework show in the warmth and safety of your vehicle!
Arrive early and park for FREE to view the up-close show in the recommended viewing areas listed here.
The fireworks will be launched from Parking Lot D of the CHI Health Center.

First Day Hikes – Jan 1st
- Kick-off the New Year in a memorable, fun way. State parks across Nebraska will be holding popular First Day Hikes Jan. 1 to celebrate the new year. The list of participating parks grows every day!
- Daily or Annual State Park permit required.
- Visitors will need a daily or annual Nebraska State Park permit.
Winterfest at Ponca State Park – Dec 30th – 9:00am-5:00pm
- All activities are free during this outdoor family tradition. There will be Outdoor Education programs in the morning, followed by the National Championship Fruitcake Fling at high noon, where guest throw wildlife friendly fruitcakes competing for distance. Prizes will be awarded for the longest throws in four age categories. The day will conclude with lighted hayrack rides.
