Finding Nemo
Disney Pixar’s Finding Nemo Theater for Young Audiences is a vibrant, puppetry-filled, musical adaptation of the beloved 2003 movie. This show features spectacular songs written by the creators of Frozen and Coco. Marlin, an anxious and over-protective clownfish, lives in the Great Barrier Reef with his kid Nemo, who longs to explore the world beyond their anemone home. NCAA Men’s College World Series 2025
The College World Series (CWS) is the culminating championship tournament of NCAA Division I baseball, held each June in Omaha, Nebraska. Featuring the final eight teams standing from a 64-team bracket, the CWS combines elite competition with a festive atmosphere, making it one of college sports’ most cherished traditions. The teams compete in a double-elimination format, culminating in a best-of-three finals to crown the national champion

2025 Father’s Day Weekend Car Show
annual Father’s Day Car Show is rolling into the SAC Aerospace Museum! This year, we’re opening the floor to all show cars—classic, custom, modern, or muscle—if it turns heads, it belongs here. The Very Hungry Caterpillar will visit for a special storytime! Children of all ages are welcome. Experience stories, creative movement, music and more. We explore the early literacy skills of singing, playing, reading, talking, and writing in each storytime. There will be opportunities to take photos.

Popcorn Productions, LLC and Eugene T. Mahoney State Park present three melodramas this summer: “Peril of the Storm,” “Baron’s Revenge” and “Troll of Trafalgar.” Performances take place at the Denman and Mary Mallory Kountze Memorial Theatre inside the park.

Calling all witches and wizards! Think you have what it takes to participate in this Wizarding Adventure? Come solve puzzles and clues to unlock a prize box before time runs out in this escape room based on the best-selling "Harry Potter" book series. "$5 after 5" is back, giving guests an opportunity to visit the museum after 5PM on Tuesday evenings throughout the summer. From June 3-August 26, admission for all ages will be just $5 after 5PM on Tuesdays.
Celebration of Yokai
Yōkai, supernatural beings and phenomena from Japanese folklore and popular culture, are at once sinister and friendly, frightening and silly, and completely captivating to the imagination. Join Omaha Public Library and a representative from the Japanese Outreach Initiative for a brief exploration of the history of Yōkai and learn how to craft your own in various Japanese art styles. This is a free event for adults 19+.

Through hands-on experiments and fun, interactive stories, we get kids excited about the science that’s all around us as we celebrate the scientists who color our world with art! In the event of inclement weather this program will be moved to the CB Library.
Raptor Rescue at Papillion Library
Join a Fontenelle Forest Raptor Educator as they talk about birds of prey, including an owl, hawk, and a falcon. This program will take place outside, weather permitting. If not outside, it will take place in the Youth Department outside the Play-and-Learn Center.

Stuffed Animal Sleepover Storytime
Bring your favorite stuffed animal friend to a pajama storytime! After storytime, your stuffie friend will stay at the library for a sleepover with the librarians, where we’ll take pictures of them doing all sorts of fun activities. This program is for kids ages 0-7, but older siblings are welcome too.

Classics With a Cause Series: Night at the Museum
Each week, Quasar pairs up a local business with a local charitable cause, to present a “Classic” retro title for a “Free-to-the-Public ” event to raise awareness and support. This is a great way for your organization to educate and interact with an eager audience. Solicitation of free-will donations or mission-specific item donations can be part of pre-event, advertising co-op.

Join this summer for some stargazing at Eugene T. Mahoney State Park! Powerful telescopes will be set up at the park’s golf shack for a glimpse of the night sky spectaculars. The event is free to the public, but you will need a valid Nebraska park entry permit for your vehicle. Stargazing will begin at dusk. Remember to bring your camp chairs or blankets! Telescopes will be provided.

Every Other Saturday morning is reserved for FUN, FUN, FUN. Activities for kids 8 and under. All children must be accompanied by an adult. No drop offs, please.
Book Talk and Tote
Are you ready to get crafty? Come design your own book tote while listening to book talks. Have fun decorating your own unique book tote using various art supplies and iron on patches. You are encouraged to talk about a book you enjoyed with the rest of the group, but it is not required. All supplies are included.

It’s your time to shine! Join OPL and instructors with Pear Tree Performing Arts studio to explore culture through the power of oral tradition, folktales, and drama.
