Halloween Hysteria 2024
Get ready for the spookiest event of the year, as Downtown transforms into a Halloween haven for families! Join for Halloween Hysteria, an evening where goblins, ghouls, and giggles converge for a night of safe and festive trick-or-treating.
Ghouls & Glow at Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium
This year, Ghouls & Glow is “short but extra sweet” with two weekends of family-friendly fun: October 17-20 and 24-27, from 7 to 9:30 p.m. each night. Ghouls & Glow will feature spellbinding performances by Omaha Circus Arts and Omaha Street Percussion. Guests will enjoy trick-or-treat stations, carousel rides, specialty fall-themed treats and lanterns throughout the entire event footprint. Mahoney Kingdoms of the Night and the Suzanne and Walter Scott Aquarium will be open for this event.

Greg and Rowley are stuck in a room with Rodrick! Can you help them escape? Work together to solve the puzzles and clues based on the best-selling “Diary of a Wimpy Kid” book series by Jeff Kinney before time runs out!
Halloween Trunk or Treat
A spooktacular evening of trick-or-treating fun at Goldfish Swim School – Sarpy County! Dress up in your favorite costume and visit decorated trunks filled with goodies. This in-person event is perfect for families looking for a safe and enjoyable way to celebrate Halloween.
Trunk or Treat at Wildlife Safari Park
Celebrate Halloween and create “treats” for the animals that call the trees their home. Enjoy dinner, games and a hayrack ride. Cost is $30 per person (ages 2+) and includes dinner and all activities.
Friday Night Movies: The Pagemaster
Enjoy an outdoor movie at Ditmars this fall! The playground will be open for play beforehand but will close once the movie begins for safety precautions. Bring your own blankets, chairs, and bug spray and enjoy the gorgeous views, sunsets, and fall nights. Movie Starts at Dusk.

Just like a zombie, Cass Street Trick ‘R’ Treat returns and tons of spooky fun awaits! Games, candy, live music and more – it’ll be a ghoul of a time for the whole family! RSVP so they know how many monster to expect.
Kid’s SAL-OWEEN Party & Trunk-or-Treat
Join the Sons of the American Legion Squadron #1 as they present their 9th Annual “Kid’s Halloween Party & Trunk or Treat”. Come play a variety of interactive games for all ages. Free Movie: “Halloweentown.” Food and Drinks will also be FREE, but Donations are welcome! Win the “Costume Contest” at 12:30 pm. 1st, 2nd & 3rd PRIZES!!!
Trunk or Treat by Papillion Eagles Club
Trunk Decor Contest, Trick or Treating, Dress up and join the fun. First 350 kiddos will get a glow in the dark bag. Cash prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place decorated trunks.

Allergy-Friendly Trunk or Treat
ALL KIDS ARE INVITED for some healthy, Halloween fun! Food-allergy kids are often left out of Halloween festivities because they can’t eat candy collected trick-or-treating. This is a food-allergy friendly event so that ALL KIDS can have fun trunk-or-treating for non-food items like stickers, tattoos, and other trinkets in lieu of candy.
