Christmas Colorland Drop-in
Stop by anytime and get creative at our Christmas Colorland Drop-in program. Color Santa, snowflakes, reindeer, Christmas trees and more. This is a fun and relaxing way for families to enjoy the season together!
Winter Break Fun: Minute to Win It
School may be out, but the fun is just getting started! Join Recreation as we play a version of the classic TV gameshow Minute to Win It! Be a part of a fun day of competition and see if you have what it takes to be on TV! Ages: 8-17
Interactive Movie: Frozen 2
Join for a magical showing of Frozen 2 on the big screen! While enjoying the movie, kids can take part in fun Frozen-themed crafts and activities inspired by their favorite characters. Costumes are welcome, creativity is encouraged, and all ages are invited to sing along and celebrate the spirit of adventure! This is a free event.. Crafts and activities available while supplies last.
Super Smash Bros Tournament
Join OPL for a Super Smash Bros tournament at the Benson Branch. We will be playing the game on the Nintendo Switch 2. This is a free program for ages 13-18.
Wild Robot Kids Escape Room
Can your team solve the puzzles before time runs out? Sign up to reserve your spot in the challenge. No library card required. For incoming Grades 2-5. The instructions and game will take approximately 45 minutes. Do not sign up for more than one timeslot.
Storytelling and Poetry Night
Join for a night of local stories! Ages 12+ are invited to submit a story or poem to read aloud (or have library staff read for them if preferred). Submissions should be no more than 1,500 words and family friendly. Invite your friends and family! Hot chocolate will be served.

Winter Break Fun: Cocoa and Chat
School may be out, but the fun is just getting started! Join Recreation during Winter Break for a variety of free, drop-in activities designed to keep kids and teens active, creative, and connected. Come enjoy some delicious hot chocolate, play games, or just hang out and laugh with friends! Ages: 8-17
Open Game Day (Teens)
Join teen services for an afternoon of open games. Play multi-player video games (i.e. Jackbox Party games, Mario Kart, Overcooked) with fellow peers or sit back, relax, and spectate. No registration or library card required.
Boredom Busters – Ornament Painting
Ages 8-12. This afterschool program for ages 8+ meets the second and fourth Tuesday of the month. Each meeting we will have a different craft, activity, or game to do. Supplies will be out from 3:30-5 p.m.

Winter Break Fun: Pajama and Movie Day
School may be out, but the fun is just getting started! Join Recreation as we stay warm and cozy in our favorite pair of pajamas and enjoy a holiday movie. It's the perfect way to melt away a longer winter day! Ages: 8-17
Puzzle Competition
Grab your team and get ready for a puzzle showdown! Everyone gets the same puzzle, and the race is on to see who can finish first. You’ll have two hours to put the pieces together and solve a small puzzle-related mystery. Only one team will take the crown as Puzzle Champions! Space is limited, and registration is required. Please only register once for each team. Teams are required to have a minimum of 2 members and a max of 5. One member of the team must be 19+.

School may be out, but the fun is just getting started! Join Recreation and get a chance to create your mini masterpiece! With our mini-art boards you can express your creativity, show off your talent, and create something you can be proud of! Ages: 8-17
Dragon Masters Escape Room
The Dragon Stone has been stolen, and Griffith and the dragons need your help to get it back! Come solve puzzles and clues to unlock a prize box before time runs out in this escape room based on the best-selling Dragon Masters series by Tracey West. All are for participants ages 6-10.

Cut & Create: Vision & Mood Boards
Set your intentions and bring your goals to life through the power of vision and mood boarding! In this creative workshop, you'll use magazines, images, words, and craft supplies to design a personalized vision or mood board that reflects your dreams, goals, and inspirations for the future. No artistic experience needed—just bring your ideas and an open mind. All materials provided, but feel free to bring any personal images or quotes you'd like to include. This is a free event for adults.
