Free fall film on the big screen where they will help celebrate 40 years of Ghostbusters and the newest franchise release! Before the movie, visit us at The Nines Plaza (adjacent to The Astro Amphitheater) for a ghostly good time as Nebraska’s version of an ectomobile will be on display alongside movie characters in costume. Don’t be afraid of no ghost, dress in your best costume and snap photos with our large selfie frame. Come hungry! The Astro’s concessions will be open inside the gates. The first 100 arrivals will receive a free small kettle corn from the City’s welcome booth.
Get ready for a WILD night! While parents enjoy a well-deserved date night, kids ages 5 to 12 year old will discover fun new ways to appreciate wildlife. Hosted by trained educators, each unique program includes pizza, snacks, animal experience, movie time, engaging and educational activities and more!

Embrace the spirit of giving this fall at Omaha Children’s Museum’s second annual Pumpkins with a Purpose on Sunday, September 29, 11-3 at Granary Green! Food Trucks, Vendor Fair, Pony Rides, Mini Pumpkin Patch, Petting Zoo, Mechanical Bull, and more!
Kids can enjoy complimentary refreshments, hot dogs, and kid-friendly biking zones. Additionally, partners will be offering bicycle and gear raffles and giveaways. Join their naturalist educators on a guided hike through these different habitats and learn about each of these unique ecosystems! Habitat Hikes will be held monthly, as they visit different locations and discover habitat changes each season.

This year, Ghouls & Glow is “short but extra sweet” with two weekends of family-friendly fun: October 17-20 and 24-27, from 7 to 9:30 p.m. each night. Ghouls & Glow will feature spellbinding performances by Omaha Circus Arts and Omaha Street Percussion. Guests will enjoy trick-or-treat stations, carousel rides, specialty fall-themed treats and lanterns throughout the entire event footprint. Mahoney Kingdoms of the Night and the Suzanne and Walter Scott Aquarium will be open for this event.
