50+ hot air balloons suspended in mid air, skilled pilots from around the world, roaring burners creating a whoosh that is both heard and felt. Kick off the 11th annual event with a Glow at Western Nebraska Community College on Thursday. Mass Ascensions, Craft Fair, Wiener Dog Races, Night Glows, and more!
Centralia Balloon Fest is an annual hot air balloon event that takes place on the 3rd full weekend of August in Centralia, Illinois at Foundation Park, a 300-acre nature park. Hot air balloons, balloon glows, tethered balloon rides, car show, live music, FREE Family Fun Day with Kids Activities, and more.

Get ready for the ultimate party experience with Shadow Lake's Back to School Foam Party! 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM: Regular Foam Party. Start your night with the classic foam fun! Dive into a sea of foam, dance, and enjoy the high-energy vibes as we kick things off with a bubbly blast.
8:30 PM - 10:00 PM: Glow-in-the-Dark Foam Party As the night heats up, the lights go down, the music goes up and the glow begins! The foam transforms into a glowing spectacle under the blacklights, creating an electric atmosphere for you to dance, splash, and party in neon style! Event will be held in the street between Gypsy Plum and Michaels. Free Event. Wear your best neon attire!
The KIDZ BOP Kids are back in 2025 with their all new KIDZ BOP Live Certified BOP Tour, coming to a city near you. Sing and dance along to today biggest BOPs live on the big stage including “espresso”, “HOT TO GO”, & “Dance Monkey”. Join us for the ultimate pop concert experience for kids (and their grown-ups!) with eye-popping new stage design and interactive elements kids will love, as well as the return of the popular (and hilarious!) Daddy Dance Off. Don’t miss this annual live event that’s become the first concert experience for a generation of young fans.

Almost 35 balloons participate in races over the weekend. In addition there is a parade with a marching band contest and balloonist and many more, also a doll show, arts & crafts fair, flea market, balloon night glow, food booths and more. Come for the day or the weekend.
