Celebrate reading with a party all about bookmarks! Kids can decorate a variety of bookmarks using fun supplies and their own creativity. From colorful designs to imaginative patterns, everyone will leave with a collection of unique bookmarks to enjoy with their favorite books. All supplies are included while supplies last. This is a free event for kids ages 6-10, and registration is required.

Spring starts small! Join Keep Omaha Beautiful for a hands-on investigation of tree buds and the exciting changes happening before leaves and flowers appear. Dissect buds to uncover the tiny leaves and flowers hidden inside, ready to burst when the weather warms.

The doors are officially opening. Welcome to the Tenaska Center for Arts Engagement — a vibrant place for community members of all ages to gather, learn, and find inspiration together! Join for a first look during the open house, featuring self-guided tours, a camps & classes fair, and performances filling every classroom and rehearsal space.

Local sewist Alejandra will introduce us to the basics of sewing, hemming, and upgrading clothes to give them new life. This series is open to beginner & advanced sewists who want to try a new project, meet other enthusiasts, and share project ideas. Bring your own machine or use a library machine. Join for this special Meet a Musician storytime with the Omaha Symphony! They’ll be joined by a clarinet player who will bring the children’s book "Kitten’s First Full Moon" to life with live music.

Using a handheld blacklight, educators from Nebraska Wildlife Rehab will help uncover the science of biofluorescence with a unique presentation and hands-on glowing experiments! This is a free event for Teens 13+. Registration is not required.

They’re adding some extra “hop” to this year’s Hop to the Movies by featuring Disney Pixar’s latest animated adventure “Hoppers”! Easter Egg Hunt, Photos with the Easter Bunny, Coloring Stations, and complimentary-size popcorn.

Join the UNO Biomechanics Lab for fun and educational basketball experience! Guests will be able to participate in various NBA Draft Combine exercises, where they’re able to compare themselves to their friends, family, and NBA players. A running leaderboard of top participant performances will be displayed throughout the event.
