Foraging Fundamentals
Curious about foraging but not sure where to begin? Join OPL and Nebraska Game and Parks Commission to learn about foraging and how to safely and responsibly explore the edible plants growing all around you.
The instructor will also bring real-life examples to help you learn by seeing, smelling, and (possibly) tasting! Whether you’re a nature lover, home cook, or curious beginner, this workshop is a great way to connect with the natural world and your local environment.
Some items, like jellies or plants, may contain or come into contact with common allergens. We cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment or prevent cross-contamination. If you have severe allergies, please take extra precautions or consider not sampling.
Registration is required and opens August 15th.
