The Gift Crow Opening Celebration

LALA (Local Artists. Local Art), a nonprofit dedicated to uplifting local creative voices, invites the public to a vibrant evening of art, music, and celebration at “LALA Arty Party: Gift Crow Celebration”, at 8th Street Plaza at Heartland of America Park, next to the Skate Ribbon. At the heart of the event is the debut of “Gift Crow”, a striking new sculpture by local artist Renee’ A. Ledesma, followed by remarks from both Ledesma and Weston Thomsen, Co-Director at LALA.  The evening will include a performance by Mariachi Femenil Tecalitlan, an appearance by the River City Mixed Chorus, locally designed inflatable sculptures, and a lively celebration of LALA artists and their work. The sculpture is sponsored by LALA (Local Artists. Local Art) and The RiverFront. Created in collaboration with Walla Walla Foundry, Puritan Manufacturing and Bruning Sculpture.
