Intro to Wildlife Rehab & the Story of the Cake Bandit
In this family-friendly presentation we will learn about the resources Nebraska Wildlife Rehab provides to our local wildlife, how it pertains to individual patients such as Gretna’s own Cake Bandit Opossum, and what we can all do as a network to aid our nature neighbors. While no opossums will be present, there will be chocolate cake.
Lauren Salick is the Education Director at Nebraska Wildlife Rehab. She has been involved in many wildlife-oriented and youth support organizations. She holds a BS in Animal Science and a MA in Environmental Education.
Sponsored by the Gretna Community Foundation.
