Starting October 13th and running through the end of the year, the Luminarium Maker Space will become an Air Toobz laboratory with multiple Air Toobz Evos, plenty of accessories, guided activities, and inspiration for creative, open-ended exploration. On the weekend of October 17th and 18th, Fat Brain Toys will take over the 2nd-floor lounge, where their Toy Experts will offer interactive demonstrations of Air Toobz Evo, plus a bunch of their other best-selling toys and games, and visitors can enter to win a free Air Toobz Evo. Or, want to skip the suspense? The Air Toobz Evo is also available at the gift shop! Young minds are in for a whirlwind of wonder.
In this workshop you will learn how to use a cardboard loom to create a friendship bracelet. This easy-to-follow loom technique will be sure to make you fall in love with friendship bracelets. A variety of embroidery floss colors will be provided as well as cardboard and scissors to make the looms. Although this does take a bit of time, everything is easy to transport and would be a great activity to work on whenever you want to keep your hands busy. Before you know it you will have made one of the most fantastic friendship bracelets you have ever seen! Meet at the Arrival Plaza next to the Discovery Playground!
