Shimmy Mob is an annual "flash mob" event, creating awareness of emotional abuse and domestic violence. Shimmy Mob raises awareness of and funds for victims of domestic violence. They will be raising money for WCA Omaha.

Get Fit In the Park with Healing Tender Hearts! We will help inspire weekly Sunday workouts that focus on cardio, mental health, fitness, with laughter, smiles, and togetherness. This event will take place at the Performance Pavilion in Gene Leahy Mall!

In this class students will learn the basic movements and isolations so well as, posture and some basic styling associated with popular Egyptian and Turkish style belly dancing. You will learn fundamental muscle control and fluidity while toning those core tummy muscles. It will encourage good posture, improve flexibility and it is a great low impact exercise activity as well. Great for beginners but, all are welcome to participate. This class will be located at the 8th Street Plaza in Heartland of America Park.

Visit the 11th Street Promenade to see a magic show featuring cards, rings, ropes, silks, and even an escape. It's the Tricks of the Trade performed by Old Market Magician, Ryan Chandler. From The CW's "Fool Us" to the "Penn & Teller: Try This At Home" magic special, Ryan is known for his unique street style which often combines magic and elements of music. Enjoy the timelessness of painting “en plein air,” an inspiring way to immerse yourself in the beauty of the outdoors as you capture it on canvas. Storytelling of our surroundings, the drawings are a record of time & place. Urban Sketching is a fun and social way to connect with other sketchers of all ages and abilities; no wonder it has become a global movement! Visit the Canopies at Gene Leahy Mall.

Sharpies are one of the simplest yet versatile tools you can use to create. In this workshop, you will learn different drawing and hand lettering techniques to turn a blank space into something extraordinary. This workshop will include different types of paper and a wide selection of sharpie markers to design an abstract piece with.
