Get ready for a roaring good time! In this hands-on musical experience inspired by Dinosaurumpus!, kids become the musicians as they explore the many ways percussion instruments make sound—shaking, scraping, and striking along with the story. Guided by a staff member from the Omaha Symphony, young participants will stomp, chomp, and make music together while discovering how rhythm brings this dino-filled tale to life.
Floor is Lava
Join OPL for a special program featuring the book Harry and Hot Lava by Chris Robertson! At the conclusion of the story, children will jump and hop their way through an obstacle course using various surfaces. Go as fast as you can, but don’t fall in because…the Floor is Lava! This is a free event for children 4+. Registration is required.

This event is held in conjunction with Iowa's FREE fishing weekend, which means a license is not required for Iowa residents. All other IDNR fishing regulations apply. Children must bring their own fishing pole and bait to join in the fishing derby fun. Some bait will be provided. A $3 per vehicle entry fee or Pottawattamie Conservation membership is required to participate.

Puzzle Competition – All Ages
Compete against other teams to complete the same puzzle in the fastest amount of time. All teams will be provided with a puzzle and will have two hours to finish the challenge. The first team to complete the puzzle wins! Space is limited, and registration is required.
Rainbow Crafters
Make your own jewelry and celebrate Pride! You'll have the choice of making pompom earrings, macrame rainbow earrings, or a beaded bracelet. Come find community, express yourself, and make something uniquely you! Please register.
Throne of Glass Escape Room
You will be "locked" in a room with puzzles, clues (and a few hints) to see if you have the smarts to figure out how to get out of our escape room! This escape room is based on the best-selling Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas.
Midwest Tacos & Tequila Fest
Year three of Midwest Tacos & Tequila Fest at Falconwood Park! Join Saturday, June 6, with live music, art, vendors, and Tacos & Tequila! Thats not all, though. They'll also have mechanical bull riding, Lucha Libre wrestling matches, Micheladas, and a taco eating contest!
