NE SciFest Scavenger Hunt

Arrowhead Trail Run
Arrowhead Trail Run is a 5k marked course at Arrowhead Park. Choose the traditional 5k distance, 2 laps for a 10k, or complete as many laps as you can in a 4 hour Enduro! Medals will be awarded for the top 10 males and females in the 5k, 10k and 4 Hour Enduro event categories. ALL are welcome to run, jog, walk or hike at your own pace.

The Great Midtown Treasure Hunt
Explore Midtown Crossing in a whole new way! The Great Midtown Treasure Hunt is a free and open-to-the-public treasure hunt that invites participants to visit neighborhood businesses and landmarks, solve puzzles, games and riddles at each stop, and sleuth for clues that lead them closer to the “Hidden Treasure”. Team up with friends or bring the whole family! This self‑guided hunt is most ideal for teams of 4. All ages are welcome to put your problem-solving skills to the test, all at your own pace.
Snacky Science
STEM has never been so sweet! In this hands-on program, kids will explore science and engineering using tasty treats as their tools. From building with snacks to experimenting with edible creations, learning is fun when you can eat your experiments at the end! This is a free event for kids 6-10. Registration is required
Cooking Workshop with No More Empty Pots
Come enjoy a cooking demonstration with No More Empty Pots to learn skills such as nutrition, teamwork, and food-safety. The session will feature local, seasonal and garden fresh foods. This free event is open to adults and children aged 5 and up. Children under 11 must be accompanied by an adult caregiver. Registration is required.
Puzzle Race
Compete in teams to finish a 500-piece puzzle in 2 hours or less! Register your team of 2-4 people or as an individual looking to join another team. Registration open today online or in person by dropping by either library and speaking with a librarian.
Family Campfire Festival
