Crafted from reclaimed wood and full of wild wisdom, these six towering trolls are on a mission to help humans rediscover their connection to nature. Annual Menorah Parade
We are finishing Chanukah off with a bang. Join us as we parade across the city with lit Menorahs mounted on our cars. It is one of the most joyous, uplifting and proudly Jewish moments of the year. If you have never been in the parade, make this the year. If you have done it before, you know there is nothing like it.

Santa will be located in the classroom of Sofia's Play Garden. Included with a ticket to Bright Nights.

Join for a magical showing of Frozen 2 on the big screen! While enjoying the movie, kids can take part in fun Frozen-themed crafts and activities inspired by their favorite characters. Super Smash Bros Tournament
Join OPL for a Super Smash Bros tournament at the Benson Branch. We will be playing the game on the Nintendo Switch 2. This is a free program for ages 13-18.
Gingerbread Cookie Decorating & Pizza with Santa!
Join in Santa’s Workshop for a festive and delicious afternoon with Santa and Mrs. Claus! Decorate your own gingerbread cookies, enjoy pizza, and make magical holiday memories with the whole family. Can your team solve the puzzles before time runs out? Sign up to reserve your spot in the challenge. No library card required. For incoming Grades 2-5. The instructions and game will take approximately 45 minutes. Do not sign up for more than one timeslot.
Storytelling and Poetry Night
Join for a night of local stories! Ages 12+ are invited to submit a story or poem to read aloud (or have library staff read for them if preferred). Submissions should be no more than 1,500 words and family friendly. Invite your friends and family! Hot chocolate will be served.

Winter Break Fun: Cocoa and Chat
School may be out, but the fun is just getting started! Join Recreation during Winter Break for a variety of free, drop-in activities designed to keep kids and teens active, creative, and connected. Come enjoy some delicious hot chocolate, play games, or just hang out and laugh with friends! Ages: 8-17
Open Game Day (Teens)
Join teen services for an afternoon of open games. Play multi-player video games (i.e. Jackbox Party games, Mario Kart, Overcooked) with fellow peers or sit back, relax, and spectate. No registration or library card required.
Boredom Busters – Ornament Painting
Ages 8-12. This afterschool program for ages 8+ meets the second and fourth Tuesday of the month. Each meeting we will have a different craft, activity, or game to do. Supplies will be out from 3:30-5 p.m.

Puzzle Competition
Grab your team and get ready for a puzzle showdown! Everyone gets the same puzzle, and the race is on to see who can finish first. You’ll have two hours to put the pieces together and solve a small puzzle-related mystery. Only one team will take the crown as Puzzle Champions! Space is limited, and registration is required. Please only register once for each team. Teams are required to have a minimum of 2 members and a max of 5. One member of the team must be 19+.
