Fire Safety Storytime
Experience stories, creative movement, music and more. Explore the early literacy skills of singing, playing, reading, talking and writing in each storytime! Children of all ages are welcome; storytimes will be tailored for the age of the children present. Out & About Storytime: Lauritzen Gardens
In order for curious minds to bloom, it is essential to plant a love of reading at a young age. Join OPL at Lauritzen Gardens for stories that celebrate gardens, plants, insects and more, and discover the joys of nature, movement, music, and literature. Storytime is geared for preschoolers, but all ages are welcome. Lauritzen Gardens will offer free admission to families who attend this storytime.
Story Time + Movement with Fern Foundation
Join for a fun and engaging Story Time with Movement! Perfect for kids ages 3 and up (younger siblings welcome), this interactive session combines storytelling with playful movement to spark imagination, build listening skills, and support early childhood development through joyful, active learning.
Spark Your Story

Classics With a Cause Series: Office Space
Each week, Quasar pairs up a local business with a local charitable cause, to present a “Classic” retro title for a “Free-to-the-Public ” event to raise awareness and support. This is a great way for your organization to educate and interact with an eager audience. Solicitation of free-will donations or mission-specific item donations can be part of pre-event, advertising co-op.

Art In the Park: Noticing Nature: Water Soluble Pastels
Let’s take a closer look at the Plants in the park and our Farmer’s Market finds…..fruits & veggies and any other fun treasures we discover. Through close observation (with the help of a magnifying glass) we will play with Oil Pastels, Chalk Pastels and watercolor pencils to appreciate the beauty of Nature’s design. All materials included. This workshop is a drop-in style workshop. Seats are limited and are first come first serve. Location: RiverFront Park at the Arrival Plaza outside of Kiewit Luminarium

Back to School FOAM Party at Shadow Lake
7:00 PM - 8:30 PM: Regular Foam Party - Start your night with the classic foam fun! Dive into a sea of foam, dance, and enjoy the high-energy vibes as we kick things off with a bubbly blast.
8:30 PM - 10:00 PM: Glow-in-the-Dark Foam Party - As the night heats up, the lights go down, the music goes up and the glow begins! The foam transforms into a glowing spectacle under the blacklights, creating an electric atmosphere for you to dance, splash, and party in neon style!
Event will be held in the street between Gypsy Plum and Michaels. Free Event. Wear your best neon attire!
Stinson Park Concert Series: eNVy
eNVy at Stinson Park! There will be food and drink vendors, face painters, balloon artists, and playground equipment for kids to enjoy. Feel free to bring chairs, blankets, and coolers for the concerts. Please use koozies for your cans and plastic cups for other drinks, as glass is prohibited. Also, please refrain from bringing tents, canopies, or staking anything into the ground. Most importantly, have fun and enjoy your time in Stinson Park! Aksarben Village is always buzzing with something fun to do!
