Titanic The Musical
Titanic The Musical captures the stories of the officers, crew members and passengers of the ever-fascinating catastrophe of the most luxurious ocean liner in the 1900s. Finding Nemo
Disney Pixar’s Finding Nemo Theater for Young Audiences is a vibrant, puppetry-filled, musical adaptation of the beloved 2003 movie. This show features spectacular songs written by the creators of Frozen and Coco. Marlin, an anxious and over-protective clownfish, lives in the Great Barrier Reef with his kid Nemo, who longs to explore the world beyond their anemone home. But when Nemo is captured and taken to Sydney, Marlin faces his fears and sets off on an epic adventure across the ocean. With the help of lovable characters such as optimistic Dory, laid-back sea turtle Crush and the supportive Tank Gang, Marlin and Nemo both overcome challenges on their journey to find each other and themselves.

Insect Adventure at Wildlife Safari Park
Open now through October 5, 2025! The biggest little adventure in town is crawling, buzzing, and flying its way to Lee G. Simmons Wildlife Safari Park! Experience Insect Adventure, an all-new giant journey, featuring 35 supersized animatronic insects and spiders from around the world. Popcorn Productions, LLC and Eugene T. Mahoney State Park present three melodramas this summer: “Peril of the Storm,” “Baron’s Revenge” and “Troll of Trafalgar.” Performances take place at the Denman and Mary Mallory Kountze Memorial Theatre inside the park.
Yoga in the Park at Turner Park

Ozobots at Baright Library
Kids are introduced to basic computer programming by exploring codes and programs using the Ozobot! The Ozobot is a miniature robot with color sensors that allow it to follow lines and read color codes to complete commands. In this program, youth will learn and draw basic color codes, integrate color codes into storytelling, and use Ozoblockly - an online coding program to explore sequential block coding. This class is taught by 4-H School Enrichment teachers. Class size is limited, so registration is required.
Grossology with Henry Doorly Zoo
Poop, vomit, slime, and even more amazing disgusting topics will be explored as we learn about some of the grossest (and coolest) animal traits. Join OPL and educators from the Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium to learn about mammal digestion and discover why scientists use poop to track animal migration patterns.
Hunger Games Survival Challenge
Happy Hunger Games! Come try your luck at survival skills and activities themed around the Hunger Games series by Suzanne Collins and see if you have what it takes to win the Hunger Games in this interactive program for teens ages 12-18. "$5 after 5" is back, giving guests an opportunity to visit the museum after 5PM on Tuesday evenings throughout the summer. From June 3-August 26, admission for all ages will be just $5 after 5PM on Tuesdays.

Floor is Lava
Join OPL for a special storytime featuring the book Harry and Hot Lava by Chris Robertson! At the conclusion of storytime, children will be timed as they jump and hop their way through an obstacle course using various surfaces. Go as fast as you can, but don’t fall in because…the Floor is Lava! This is a free event for children 4+.

Each week, Quasar pairs up a local business with a local charitable cause, to present a “Classic” retro title for a “Free-to-the-Public ” event to raise awareness and support. This is a great way for your organization to educate and interact with an eager audience. Solicitation of free-will donations or mission-specific item donations can be part of pre-event, advertising co-op.

The RiverFront Fourth of July Celebration featuring The Omaha Symphony
All are welcome to The RiverFront Fourth of July Celebration featuring the Omaha Symphony! This fun, festive and family-friendly evening in downtown Omaha returns to the Gene Leahy Mall.
This concert will feature the Omaha Symphony, along with other performers to be announced. The evening will culminate with The RiverFront's spectacular fireworks presentation synchronized with live music. Come early to secure your spot on the lawn beginning at 3 PM.

Insect Adventure at Wildlife Safari Park
Open now through October 5, 2025! The biggest little adventure in town is crawling, buzzing, and flying its way to Lee G. Simmons Wildlife Safari Park! Experience Insect Adventure, an all-new giant journey, featuring 35 supersized animatronic insects and spiders from around the world. Enjoy a self-guided exploration with familiar favorites, like the monarch butterfly, honeybees, and the black widow spider, while encountering unique species such as the Madagascar hissing cockroach and the bullet ant.
Forever Young Film Series: Surf’s Up
The film profiles Cody Maverick, an up-and-coming surfer as he enters his first pro competition. He leaves his family in Antarctica to travel to Pen Gu Island for a Memorial Surf Off, believing that winning will bring him the admiration and respect he desires. But when he unexpectedly comes face to face with a washed up surfer, Cody begins to understand that the greatest champion isn't always the one who comes in first.
4th of July Living History Celebration at Fort Atkinson
Ongoing demonstrations featuring military and civilian life of the 1820s will occur throughout the park. Reenactors portray fur traders, coopers, blacksmiths, carpenters, tinsmiths, weavers and other period trades. Visitors are encouraged to interact with the reenactors.
Celebrate at The Platform: Independence Day
Join at The Platform, the museum’s interactive play space, and celebrate the holidays with us! Each date will have a special craft or activity and feature related photos from our Photo Archive for a bit of a history lesson while you celebrate. On Saturday, July 5, celebrate our nation's independence and the traditions behind the July 4th holiday.
Animation Academy: From Pencils to Pixels
Step into your favorite Saturday-morning cartoons and explore the remarkable world of storytelling through animation. Our much-anticipated summer exhibition, The Animation Academy: From Pencils to Pixels, invites visitors of all ages to leap into the fascinating realm of the cartoon genre. This unique exhibit provides a rare glimpse into the magic behind some of the most beloved animated films and characters, and offers a comprehensive exploration of the art, science, technology and history of animation.
Kids Club at Heartwood Park
Every Other Saturday morning is reserved for FUN, FUN, FUN. Activities for kids 8 and under. All children must be accompanied by an adult. No drop offs, please.
Out & About Storytime: The Joslyn
Join OPL at The Joslyn for storytime, featuring stories, creative movement, music and exploration of a piece of art. Storytime is geared toward preschoolers, but all ages are welcome. This Storytime is part of The Joslyn's monthly Art-tastic Saturdays.

Popcorn Productions, LLC and Eugene T. Mahoney State Park present three melodramas this summer: “Peril of the Storm,” “Baron’s Revenge” and “Troll of Trafalgar.” Performances take place at the Denman and Mary Mallory Kountze Memorial Theatre inside the park.
