Titanic The Musical
Titanic The Musical captures the stories of the officers, crew members and passengers of the ever-fascinating catastrophe of the most luxurious ocean liner in the 1900s. Finding Nemo
Disney Pixar’s Finding Nemo Theater for Young Audiences is a vibrant, puppetry-filled, musical adaptation of the beloved 2003 movie. This show features spectacular songs written by the creators of Frozen and Coco. Marlin, an anxious and over-protective clownfish, lives in the Great Barrier Reef with his kid Nemo, who longs to explore the world beyond their anemone home. But when Nemo is captured and taken to Sydney, Marlin faces his fears and sets off on an epic adventure across the ocean. With the help of lovable characters such as optimistic Dory, laid-back sea turtle Crush and the supportive Tank Gang, Marlin and Nemo both overcome challenges on their journey to find each other and themselves.
NCAA Men’s College World Series 2025
The College World Series (CWS) is the culminating championship tournament of NCAA Division I baseball, held each June in Omaha, Nebraska. Featuring the final eight teams standing from a 64-team bracket, the CWS combines elite competition with a festive atmosphere, making it one of college sports’ most cherished traditions. The teams compete in a double-elimination format, culminating in a best-of-three finals to crown the national champion

Summer Melodramas at Mahoney
Popcorn Productions, LLC and Eugene T. Mahoney State Park present three melodramas this summer: “Peril of the Storm,” “Baron’s Revenge” and “Troll of Trafalgar.” Performances take place at the Denman and Mary Mallory Kountze Memorial Theatre inside the park.
Old Market Magician
Visit the 11th Street Promenade to see a magic show featuring cards, rings, ropes, silks, and even an escape. It's the Tricks of the Trade performed by Old Market Magician, Ryan Chandler. From The CW's "Fool Us" to the "Penn & Teller: Try This At Home" magic special, Ryan is known for his unique street style which often combines magic and elements of music. Yoga in the Park at Turner Park
Yoga in the Park offers a weekly outdoor yoga session, sponsored by Methodist Health System and led by certified yoga instructors from Genesis Health Clubs. Yoga styles and instructors will vary from week-to-week. All skill levels welcome, including beginners! Sundays, May 25-July 27

Fire Safety Storytime
Experience stories, creative movement, music and more. Explore the early literacy skills of singing, playing, reading, talking and writing in each storytime! Children of all ages are welcome; storytimes will be tailored for the age of the children present. At this storytime, we will learn about fire safety with a local firefighter and even see a fire truck!
American Midwest Ballet at Bayliss Park
Join for 30 minutes of fun with professional dancers from the American Midwest Ballet! We’ll hear a story, watch a dance, and learn some moves of our very own! In the event of inclement weather, this program will move to CB Library Meeting Room A.

Cooking Workshop with No More Empty Pots
Join OPL for a cooking demonstration with No More Empty Pots to learn skills such as nutrition, teamwork, and food-safety. The session will feature local, seasonal and garden fresh foods. This is a free event for teens aged 13-18. Registration is required
Design It: Paper Roller Coasters
Ready for a thrill ride? In this hands-on Design It class, students will plan, build, and test their own paper roller coasters! Using strips of paper, cardboard, and marbles, we’ll explore physics concepts like gravity, momentum, and kinetic energy while getting creative with loops, drops, and turns. It’s a fun and fast-paced engineering challenge where imagination meets motion! Registration is required for this event.

"$5 after 5" is back, giving guests an opportunity to visit the museum after 5PM on Tuesday evenings throughout the summer. From June 3-August 26, admission for all ages will be just $5 after 5PM on Tuesdays.

All About Irises at Mahoney State Park
Join on Tuesday evening, June 24, at E.T. Mahoney State Park’s James Family Conservatory and Nature Center to learn all about irises! The Sass Memorial Iris Garden on the grounds of Mahoney State Park displays and preserves over 300 iris cultivars. Learn to appreciate irises in a new way after discovering the rare and award-winning flowers of the collection. Join the Greater Omaha and Lincoln Iris Societies for an educational program and garden tour.

Twisted BoKay Balloon Storytelling at Bayliss Park
Theatre and balloon art come together with this highly interactive show. Audience volunteers will dress as (premade) balloon characters and act out a story with Patti as the narrator and the audience as the sound effects. In the event of inclement weather this program will be moved to the CB Library.

Calling all witches and wizards! Think you have what it takes to participate in this Wizarding Adventure? Come solve puzzles and clues to unlock a prize box before time runs out in this escape room based on the best-selling "Harry Potter" book series. There will be three escape rooms, at 2 p.m., 2:45 p.m., and 3:30 p.m. for participants ages 8-12. Try to escape over summer break! Registration is required

Muggles and magic users of all kinds are invited to OPL for a celebration of the characters, creatures, and world from the "Harry Potter" book series! Tabletop Time At the Library: Modern Games
All ages and ability levels are welcome at OPL’s Tabletop Time At the Library where we’ll be playing popular, modern board games like Catan, Ticket to Ride, Splendor, King of Tokyo and more! Wednesday Night Workout Series at Turner Park
The Wednesday Night Workout Series offers a free mid-week outdoor workout, sponsored by Methodist Health System and led by licensed instructors from Genesis Health Clubs. Workout types vary from week-to-week, including popular favorites like Zumba, Mixxed Fit, PiYo and Barre.
Community Fishing Night: Omaha
Join for Community Fishing Night at Fontenelle Park Pond! Look for the Family Fishing Trailer, where loaner rods and reels, bait and fishing instruction are available free to participants. Fishing Instructors are also available to provide helpful tips and answer questions. This is the perfect opportunity for people of all ages who have never been fishing or haven’t fished for years to learn.

PACE & Omaha Musician’s Association is excited to welcome you back to Bayliss Park this summer for some LIVE music. Wednesday nights, we have an amazing music event lined up for you. It's going to be a great evening of live music in the park, so make sure to gather your family and friends and come on down. We have a lot of other great local bands lined up for Wednesday nights at 7PM as well.

Turtle Talk with Papio NRD
Join OPL as we welcome staff from Papio Natural Resources District. They will teach us all about turtles! Did you know Nebraska is home to 9 species of turtles? With the help of a few animal educators, we will learn all about what makes a turtle, a turtle!
La Vista Summer Splash (City Hall Campus)
Cool off this summer at the Summer Splash (formerly Hydrant Party). This La Vista summer tradition brings community members together to enjoy some outdoor fun with water. Local firefighters will be there to provide a giant sprinkler. Water toys and squirt guns are available for attendees to use and enjoy.
Floor is Lava
Join OPL for a special storytime featuring the book Harry and Hot Lava by Chris Robertson! At the conclusion of storytime, children will be timed as they jump and hop their way through an obstacle course using various surfaces. Go as fast as you can, but don’t fall in because…the Floor is Lava! This is a free event for children 4+.
Spark Your Story
Join Washington Branch every Thursday as local community members share their story. Enjoy snacks, engage in discussion with the storyteller, and explore new professions, storytelling mediums, and activities. This program is for teens 11–18 years old.
Opera To-Go | Council Bluffs Farmers Market

Movie Night at Highlander: Captain America – Brave New World
Movie Nights are a cherished tradition in the Highlander neighborhood, held on the lawn of the Highlander Accelerator. Everyone is welcome to this outdoor cinematic experience. This free event presents a family-friendly film suitable for all ages. Lawn opens at 8, movie starts at 9.
Classics With a Cause Series: Mean Girls
Each week, Quasar pairs up a local business with a local charitable cause, to present a “Classic” retro title for a “Free-to-the-Public ” event to raise awareness and support. This is a great way for your organization to educate and interact with an eager audience. Solicitation of free-will donations or mission-specific item donations can be part of pre-event, advertising co-op.

String Sprouts Visits Storytime
Join OPL for a musical storytime with guests from the Omaha Conservatory of Music. This storytime will include a special musical story, songs with movement, and an instrument petting zoo, where participants can try out a violin, cello, glockenspiel, stirring xylophone, lollipop drum, and a shaker instrument.

Forever Young Film Series: Surf’s Up
The film profiles Cody Maverick, an up-and-coming surfer as he enters his first pro competition. Candy Sushi
Roll on into OPL and roll up some candy sushi! We’ll explore the different types of sushi, make our own out of candy and rice krispie treats, and practice our chopstick skills in this free, interactive program for children ages 8-12. Registration is required
Puzzle Competition
Compete against other teams to complete the same puzzle in the fastest amount of time. All teams will be provided with a puzzle and will have two hours to finish the challenge. The first team to complete the puzzle wins!

Video Game Tournament: Super Smash Bros
Join OPL for a Super Smash Bros tournament at the Washington Branch. We will be playing the game on Nintendo Switch. This is a free program for ages 11-18. Registration is required

Elkhorn Shores Movies Under The Stars: Musical Movie Night
Musical Movie Night. Tonight, we invite the singers in the audience to let their voices shine, whether by participating in a sing-along or putting on a dazzling performance, as if we were at a vibrant circus on the event lawn. Some of our favorite actors and actresses will be on-screen, captivating us with their singing and dancing, creating a truly enchanting show and take us to the circus.
