Unfurl the World’s Largest American Flag & Drone Show
As America celebrates our 250th birthday, join this premier event with your family & friends to help Unfurl the World's Largest American Flag on Friday, May 22, 2026, at Omaha's Memorial Park. The flag will be unfurled at dusk (after a training session with volunteers), as drones overhead provide beautiful patriotic lighting.
Beats & Bites Stage: Jonathan Wayward
Enjoy an evening soundtrack at the market provided by some of the region’s most talented local musicians. Our Beats & Bites Stage performances feature a rotating lineup of solo acts and crowd favorites bringing everything from acoustic sets to soulful originals and covers. Bring a blanket, grab something delicious from the market or food trucks, and settle in for a relaxed evening of live music under the sky.
Stargazing Party with Omaha Astronomical Society
Look up and explore the wonders of the night sky at our Stargazing Party. Members of the Omaha Astronomical Society will bring powerful telescopes and share their expertise to help discover planets, constellations, and other celestial sights. Guests are welcome to bring their own telescopes or simply enjoy viewing through the society’s equipment. Whether you’re a seasoned astronomy enthusiast or just curious about what’s overhead, this is a magical night for all ages.
