Winterland Ice Skating at Heartwood Preserve
Family-friendly ice rink offers a magical experience for skaters of all ages, nestled in the scenic beauty of Heartwood Preserve. Whether you're a seasoned skater or stepping on to the ice for the first time, their ice rink is the perfect place to create unforgettable memories with loved ones. Open during the winter season, glide, twirl, and delight in the joy of skating in the heart of West Omaha. Only skaters need to reserve a ticket. All attending need to sign a waiver.

Discover beautiful, custom-made gifts by local artisan designers, enjoy festive performances and celebrate the holiday season! Bring the kiddos for a chance to visit with and get those must-have photos with Santa, with all donation options going direct to Open Door Mission. Tree of Lights Family Festival 2025
Help us light the way to a joyful holiday season! Join November 13th at 90th & Dodge for The Salvation Army Tree of Lights Family Festival Presented by American National Bank. Festivities kick off at 5 p.m. in the bank parking lot with free food, family-fun activities, and pictures with Santa. Then, the fun continues with live music—and finally, they’ll celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Tree of Lights being hosted by the bank...as we light the big Christmas tree just after sunset. Mark your calendars: 5 p.m. November 13th in the American National Bank parking lot. We’ll see you there!

Jingle 2025 (21+)
Jingle is an annual fundraiser that supports their mission. This event is an evening filled with holiday experiences, cocktails, delicious food bites and a wonderful silent auction of 36 unique wreaths decorated by our schools. This fundraiser creates an opportunity for our donors to make a direct impact on the students in our community through a silent auction, school wish list items, raffles and more.

Straight No Chaser
For more than two decades, Straight No Chaser has provided the soundtrack of the season, bringing millions of fans to their feet while putting them in the holiday spirit. Year after year, fans anxiously await the moment they can officially hit play on Straight No Chaser favorites. And now, the group is back on tour, serving up an all-you-can-eat buffet of holiday music (with none of the calories) as they cross the U.S. from October through December.

DIY Tree Decorating Seminar
Decorating the Christmas tree is one of our most cherished holiday traditions, and the beautiful tree becomes the backdrop for so many more – taking family photos, discovering Santa’s gifts, curling up on the sofa to admire the twinkling color. In the next demonstration in our DIY series, Visual Merchandiser Andrea Hansen will lead you through the design process she uses to transform an unadorned tree into a stunning Christmas centerpiece for your home. This seminar is free to attend and no pre-registration is required.
