GOOSEBUMPS – The Musical: Phantom of the Auditorium
Get ready for extra thrills before and after the show! From spooky crafts and creepy photo ops to our Costume Parade and a haunted graveyard, there’s fun (and frights!) for everyone. All activities are free for ticketed guests attending the show.
30th Annual Haunted Hollow at Indian Cave State Park
10 a.m. – 4 p.m.: Jack-O-Lantern Junk & Craft Market – Shop local this season! 3:30 p.m. – 5 p.m.: Trick or Treat by the Buses – Buskatiers (VW buses) will hand out candy to kids.

In addition to the trunks full of treats, they’ll have little pumpkins for your kids (or you) to paint; a rubber duck pond (pick a ducky and win a prize); and of course – a pet costume contest! Cats and dogs of all sizes are welcome to participate, and they look forward to seeing all of your adorable furbabies. They encourage pet parents (and human kids) to come in costume too, if you’d like to join the fun!

Using clues, genealogical prompts, and maps, participants will explore the cemetery’s headstones, monuments, and grave markers, all while discovering family legacies and engaging with Omaha’s past in a meaningful way.
Living History Weekend – Vintage Halloween at Arbor Lodge
Activities will include History of Halloween traditions displays, games, and hands-on-crafts will be fun for the whole family. During the weekend of October 25-26, Arbor Lodge will host special pumpkin carving demonstrations by Mikel Holland.

There’s something supernatural happening at the library, and we need your help to put the spirits to rest before time runs out! Come solve clues and puzzles based on the haunted history of Omaha, from Hummel Park to the White House Apartments to secret underground mob rings and more. Do you believe in ghosts? This is a free event for adults 19+. Registration is required and opens Sept. 15. Please call 402-444-5299 to register. There will be a session at 2 p.m. and 3 p.m.
2nd Annual Trick or Treat on the Trail at Lincoln Place Park
Join the City of Gretna and Lincoln Place HOA for the second annual Trick or Treat on the Trail at Lincoln Place Park from 2pm-4pm. Explore a thrilling trail lined with local businesses, offering spooktacular trick-or-treating fun. Join in their games, cast your vote for the best-decorated booth, and visit the shelter for some creative pumpkin painting (while supplies last). Don’t miss out on delicious treats from our food truck, AND a photo op with the Nebraska Ghost Busters Division and ECTO-1! Sign up for our costume contest (Sponsored by Lincoln Place HOA), featuring five divisions. The contest will take place at 3:00pm in the middle of the trail.

Feel that shiver in your bones? The bewitched boardwalk has returned! Join October 17 & 18 between 5:30 - 7:30 for tricks, treats, and everything in between! Activities include trick-or-treating on the first loop of the boardwalk, meeting our raptor ambassadors, playing ghoulish games, and roasting your own hotdog over a bonfire (fire bans permitting).
